well i hope the person who defended their house doesnt get prosecuted, if a burglar entered my house id stab the ****er to death too.

Tony Martin, if it's the guy i'm thinking of, shot a guy in the back who was trying to get away. He was not in his house either but climbing over his garden fence. That's why he got prosecuted. Because we're not like the states where you can just shoot people for being on your land.

They probably will get prossecuted ( cant spell), the courts basically say if someone is breaking into your house you are not allowed to attack or try to get them out as this will be classed as GBH. So basically you have to sit there and let them rob your house. The laws are ****ed, they give more protection to the burgler than they do the homeowner.

That's the fella mate. His problem was that there were two of them and one got away. If there was only one, it's your word against his. Go get a knife from the kitchen stick it in his hand (after you've shot him or knocked him out etc) and then tell the police whatever you want.

you are allowed to use "reasonable force", BUT this is a massive grey area with different courts and judges having different views on exactley what this is, my uncle was burgled yeras ago , he actually came downstairs for a drink and the ****er was in his fridge helping himself!!!!!! unluckily he got away, when the police arrived my uncle was still livid as my 3 cousins where asleep upstairs, basically the cop said you could have given him a hiding then thrown him down the stairs and told us you found him entering one of the kids rooms and in the fight he fell !!!
