Black palace blaster

Further to the discussion on the pop up lightsaber I got, this was the black palace blaster I got with the figure as well that people were pointing out.
Now I'm really confused with this one. The feel of it suggests it's repro as it's a more rigid and shiny plastic, but the details seem to surpass any repros I can find out there.
It also floats and doesn't sink, which is usually a telltale sign it's not original but I hear there's some exceptions to the rules?
Is it possible it's a lili ledy like on the gunners forum? Do those float?

Nice find! That little £10 bag of vintage goodness has to be bargain of the year!

It's a genuine blaster. With regards the float test, if a blaster sinks then it is repro, if it floats then it is USUALLY genuine. It's always best to cross reference on TIG if you are unsure of the tell tale signs for repro on each blaster. With this one the tell tale signs are the circle on the handle and bump near the start of the barrel. Yours has both. It also doesn't have excess flashing and has crisp details which again cancels out repros.

It's not the LL Palace blaster as the diamond shapes on the grip aren't big enough.

Thanks! I'll double check it as I hear there's repros with the dots as well but this one does look more convincing with its detail but I just want to be sure obviously!
It was a bit easier to tell with the pop up saber but I know everyone here has A LOT more experience with these things so needed the expertise
