Hi guys,

Just wondering whether there would be much interest in bespoke dioramas to display your Vintage Star Wars figures, they would be made specific to your requirements from size to detailed specifics of the scene? I just thought they would display the figures better than just a cabinet.

Let me know and i'll see what the general concensus is.

Thanks,

Bram

Hi,

it may be a language problem (I'm German), so can you please elaborate what this is about? Do you want to build dioramas? If so, do you have a website with your works and a price list? What I personally would love to have is a diorama of my favorite movie scene. It's the moment where Leia saves Han and Jaba turns up behind them... I got 2 left hands but I really thought about trying it sometime, when I have much free time... which will most likely never be the case. :(

Hi,

Yes I have a bit of spare time on my hands and I have previously created a Lord of the Rings (small) Diorama for my lead figures, i thought it would be nice to create bespoke diorama's for exactly the purpose that you seek, so there must be a demand (however small).

I don't have a website, just an idea at the moment...

Kind regards,

Bram

Sounds like a plan, best bet is to knock a couple up so folks can see what your capable of producing 7 go from there, otherwise its a bit of a none starter TBH m8 as no one will buy anything blind.

Not being negative as I think its a great idea & wish you the best of luck with it, just being realistic.

I had been considering building some myself, so i would think at least a few others had had similar ideas.

I have considered trying to make some myself for my cabinets ,i was thinking a snow one an endor etc so i could display the different sets of figures in their right place .
Get a couple made and if they are good im sure you will not be short of orders .

Hi guys,

Thanks for all your responses. I shall take some pics of the Lord of the Rings one I did, unfortunately its quite small as it's to scale for the lead figures which themselves are very small, but the Star Wars diorama's would obviously have to be to scale.

I will post a pic and approximate price for the Lord of the Rings one later today.

I am a bit of a perfectionist so they wouldn't be cheap and mass produced but they would be bespoke and one of a kind!

Cheers,

Bram

Can you post a pic of your lord of the rings diorama and add a price tag to it what it would cost if it was up for sale? Just to get an idea.

Hi,

Here's the pics, they are not that high quality as I wouldn't be able to upload them. I would probably be looking for between £40-£50 for this. Unfortunately these can't just be knocked up as this one alone took me nearly two weeks, there's a lot of materials, preperation, time and effort that goes into it.

I am sure I could quote for a specific diorama if you gave me the details.

Thanks for the interest guys. I will try and 'knock a Star Wars one up' but it will probably take me at least a couple of weeks.

I like it. :) How much do you think would a project like Jabba's Throne Room cost? Anyhow, I'm afraid the postage of such an item to Germany would be very high.
What about only the part of the throne room where Leia saves Han? With electronics to light up some LEDs ... that'd be cool. :)

Hi,

I'd first need some dimensions of the base and some pics and description of exactly what it was your wanted to stage, the LED lights are definitely something I could include, obviously for safety i would have to ask a few people about what to use, but I don't think it would be a problem.

If your definitely interested, then take some time and try and send me some information, the last thing I would want to do is make something that isn't exactly what you wanted.

If you want to pm me then i can send you my personal e-mail address and we can go from there.

You would have to bare with me time wise as I really would want to give you something that looks spectacular, but as you can imagine perfection wouldn't come cheap.

Thanks again for your interest.
