hi guys if this topic has been mentioned before please accept my apologies and tell me to fick off!

The other day i was strolling around a small lancashire village when i came across a battered looking toy shop which sold vintage/antiques mainly jumble and junk really. as i was looking around i noticed some crappy potf2 carded figures and there amongst them was a vintage rotj Tri-logo biker scout moc!! The card was torn in two places but about 90% of the card was in tact the bubble in great condition and completely sealed. I asked the little old guy behind the counter how much and he said as the card is damaged it would be..........£2!!!! The guy couldnt tell the difference between potf 2 and vintage!!! i quickly paid the two whole pounds amd left wirh a smile on my face. im an unlucky twat when it comes to collecting so this was nice!
My question is this- What star wars bargains have you had and whats the strangest place you have found a star wars gem ( shitty ebay not inc)

80% of my stuff has come of ebay since 1999. 20% is my childhood collection. my bargain purchase of ebay would be a r2d2 sensor scope sealed vintage baggie for 0.99p! and a blue snaggletooth dent in boot version for £20.

im a loose collector but i can see the attraction of mocs to think no one has touched this guy for nearly 30yrs!!!

Photos would be nice or at least an artists rendering.

I once got a C8 yak face for €7 about £5

and that was on ebay

hi lads my bloody computer is ****ed at the mo so im stuck using my mobile! need to sort out soon, want to upload my very small loose collection on the showcase page. As i said before im really not a luckyperson when ot comes to collecting so this came as a nice surprise! its totally crap for vintage star wars in liverpool

I think most of the MOC I ever bought in the last 10 years were bargains in my eyes, I think that is part of the fun for me, paying under (even if it's not massively under) the "market" value.

I got a Trilogo ERG for $80 once and a week later TWO sold for just under $1K on ebay - that was a good week

The only thing about getting a bargain is - if you sell it thinking you may take the risk and replace it further down the line, guaranteed you NEVER find one as cheap as the one you sold! I always look at figures like that and think - wow I could really cash in on that one, then I think well if I sell it I may never get the opportunity again to buy it back lol

Agh this hoarding **** is killing me.
