They look stunning 8)

Are these specifically for collectors :?:

Thanks, no, these are for use, but there is a big collectors market for knives like these.
The brooches are a big hit with the female crowd, mostly worn with our traditional costumes.

Just finished a leather belt with buttons today:

The belt looks superb mate, with all of the individual pieces then presumably you hand stitch into the belt?

How do you achieve the detail dark sections, are the separately done a little like the enamel Cloisonné work or do you "engrave" the darkened sections?

Fantastic work buddy and beautiful pieces :D

Yeah, the pieces are hand stitched on with sinew thread.
They are engraved, then colored with bark, then coated with lacquer(?) to make it stick in the grooves.

Your Boba Fett is coming along nicely!

Great pieces, love the work that goes into them, the fact that they are traditional designs
Lend culture and history, superb pieces .

That looks ace mate, the darkened cheek plates make it pop
Heres my latest project, don't know if its art but i used paints and my airbrush to do it so hopefully its ok
I bought the legacy falcon a couple of years ago, incomplete missing bits, recently i bought another one to scavenge more parts for mine, still need a couple more bits but i had enough to make painting it.
Heres the finished repaint next to an old mould falcon, this one is huge, with lights and sound, wish they'd released this version when we were kids, but i don't think i'd have been able to handle it back then, its over two and a half foot long.
