I've just taken delivery of one or two canvas panels this weekend... my tiny studio (for that, read: 'spare bedroom') is a little bit pushed for space, more so than usual :lol:

Already I'm working on a couple of Star Wars commissions, the hexagonal canvas is for a certain Mexican licensee logo... clicking away my order over the internet, I didn't take much notice of the dimensions of the largest panel, so I was somewhat taken aback when they arrived to realise they're over a metre in diameter :shock:

Always a little daunting to be faced with a fresh canvas, but I've got a few SW themed ideas rattling around. Some paintings are for a soon to be announced SWFUK competition, others I'm planning on taking to Farthest From IV to gauge any interest. It's going to be a busy month ahead- good fun!

Loving the thread & that antler craft Jorn :shock: very nice & you say you only just started.

I will add a few that the better half has done & I may get over my shyness & post some of my abstract stuff but be gently when I do as I'm more of a scratcher than an artist.

Jorn.....those pieces are fantastic, reminds me of the scrimshaw work done by sailors of a by gone era.
Cultural traditions are so important, to be so talented and be able to produce amazing work like that, you should be very proud

That's what this thread is all about bud, so have a go...just put some up, every one has creativity it's great to see the diverse ways it is produced, so come on ...have a go, like I said, no matter what people say, I can never produce work to the calibre of real artists, some of the guys on this forum are real pros with amazing talent, so if I'm not afraid to post, then no one should be.

Some great stuff comes out of these threads, so get your pics up :!:

I know Andy, time is precious, I find the sketching gives me time to unwind and relax, so it's like a bit of therapy :lol: :lol:

When the mrs is watching Crap Factor etc, or as is the case at the moment, she is watching 127 hrs ( for the 127 th time) great film BTW, for anyone that's not watched it,

I love the clean lines, colours, and ideas that come from a graphic design perspective, something i could never do, so love to see some of your stuff,

& some other bits I have done, that are not all my own work, but just outlines of pic's used to make up a whole with my own interpretations.
