Anybody successful at Vectis today ?

A few things went higher than I expected, but that seems to be the new normal.

It's an eye opener, especially when you look at your bid history. I don't know what's worth more , vans or Star wars

There was nothing that really jumped out at me yesterday, I haven't been blown away by a Vectis auction for a while, not as good as the ones a few years ago

The power droid was probably the highlight. 1200 plus commission for a Jedi stormtrooper was madness. I was after the two open bubble Palitoy (Han Hoth and Lando). I know the 45b Lando as a MOC is not the easiest to find but 180 hammer was again lunacy IMO

How much did the PD go for? Agreed about the Stormie. 3 odd years ago, there was a shop find of ROTJ Stormies wasn't there? The market was flooded!

Did anyone get anything at Vectis this week? I saw some big items go.. I hope our dear departed friend here got maximum for his collection and they have ended up in a new home. I bid a huge number on some Action Force stuff and still lost. :-(

I got the Toltoys Vader - £12500, the miss card OB1 on a Jawa card for £6000 and the Leia Organa on a Jedi card for £3000. Went over my £20k budget!!! lol

I did actually get a couple of MOC I've been after for a while, very happy. 41 back Dengar and 45 back CCP.

I was the underbidder on the POTF Han in Carbonite. Some steep prices for certain items I thought, whilst others were pretty much as you'd expect.

They sold for the price I expected but once commission was added they were out of where I wanted them to be (or a tight fecker as @lejackal would put it.)
I wondered why the GG went for so much, thanks for clearing that up.
And lets hope that our dear forum friend did well out of it
