Anybody successful at Vectis today ?

I turned down one of those Gam Guards for £65 about a year ago

I always had a niggling doubt that my 2 were TT, but the 1 is an AFA 85 on a 65A card, and the other ungraded looks exactly the same, I really need to check again with an Echo guide.
(That was the first thing I discovered when joining this forum , TT gate )

I vaguely remember reading that the TT GGs (excuse me...) were on Palitoy 65Cs only. Could be wrong but that rings a bell.

Thanks - that's useful. Nice to know my memory isn't completely failing. Also, on the subject of the Vectis auction, did anyone notice the Clipper card ESB 45 back Hammerhead? It looked very (too?) clean. Cross referencing with the Mr Palitoy table would increase the questions too, I think.

Yes I'm perplexed on the top price this achieved, nice clear bubble and lovely card, but a very high price, love to know why?

wonder if it's some insanely rare card for the figure as that's all I can think of, you could get a very nice palitoy 20 back & a heap of change for that sum, hell you could get a nice meccano or harbert
