Any kotobukiya star wars collectors?

I know nothing about these other than glancing at them.

I have recently won one in a competition and have only just opened the box.

Love it, whats the deal with these?

Are they all 1/10 scale? How many of them are there? etc...

They were originally released as ARTFX (1/7 scale) versions, but they changed to ARTFX+ (1/10 scale) in 2011 so I stopped collecting them. The ARTFX came with detailed bases, etc whereas the FX+ seem to just have black squares.

Love them - such great quality and detail

between me and my daughter we've picked up a few, she likes OT and Clone Wars but I only go for OT

The artfx+ ones have changeable arms so they offer a couple (all be it very limited) of posing options

My wife bought me the Stormie twin pack a few years ago, was actually one of the first SW things she bought unprompted as normally I point her in the right direction but she was pretty confident I'd love them.

I moved her unit the other day to get access to a plug and knocked over her Ben figure and snapped the saber off the hilt! Feel so bad for being stupid as she loved it

Definitely going to get her the twin pack of Snowtroopers that are coming soon.

Hope you enjoy your prize sure it'll look great in your collection - unless of course its Ben Kenobi in Clone armour in which case you should really sell it to me so I can replace the one I broke

Using db94's stormy helmet as a scale, you can see the difference in height for the original ARTFX

The new ones do look great though 8)

I stopped buying these when the went all out on the ArtFx+, if they go back to the larger scale then I might pick up some. But saying all that the new Snowtroopers look good, so tempted by them.

I have a Boba Fett 1/6 scale which I love

As has been said they changed the scale to 1/10 and made them smaller which I'm not as keen on. The detail and interchangeable parts on the original Kotos are brilliant
