I've been in the Dominican Republic for a couple of weeks followed by a long weekend in Birmingham.
Hope to do some analysis this week before heading out to Egypt, but I do have some higher priority

Back on topic of Vinyl Jawas on ebay - i seen a guy from Wales selling one he apparently "found in his dads attic" around xmas time, i asked him for a side profile of the card but he didnt send one, i then asked him if it is a recard and he got kinda weird after that asking what business is it of mine etc, i sent him photos so he could just look at his and determine himself if it was genuine - this was while the listing was active, he just kept replying with weird messages saying things like if its not real why do you want it etc, i didnt actually want it and knew it was a fake and gave him the chance to see it was fake yet he let the sale go until the end, it sold for around £250.00, now to me he then knowingly ripped someone off with a fake - so i pmd the buyer and told him all this, hopefully he will have asked for a refund or something.

Why did i get involved?
Because i knew it was fake and didnt want to see someone get ripped off

Unfortunately this happens all the time on eBay the vintage star wars section is a wretched hive of scum and villainy.

The sad part is so many people fall for it. I've emailed buyers before in similar situations and they have replied saying they trust the seller 100% and know the item is genuine (even though ive sent them links to prove 100% the item is fake e.g. starwars collectors archive etc) Yet they still have had a go at me!
