I got a Detolf cabinet for Christmas - yay! First opportunity for many years to have some SW on display in the house.

Where better to start than with the loose figure run? Although I noticed later that Walrus Man had gone AWOL...

great to see part of your collection out on display like that and let's face it, Walrus Man is probably one of the best characters that could have gone missing looking at the rest of them :D

Thanks guys! The steps are nail polish stands from Amazon, https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01A8LM4D6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Jeremy, I'm glad to say that Walrus Man isn't lost, he just didn't make it into the display!

I've also been adding a few bits to my collection website, including a load of Palitoy paperwork on the Accessories page. www.ukstarwars.com

Cheers, Andy

Thanks guys! Next rearrangement, based around a few new arrivals which I'm adding to existing runs.

ILM Ep1 crew patches (6 out of the total set of 9), cassette tapes, fan club and other vintage patches, and a few other random bits.

I've been fortunate to acquire a couple of Norwegian Unit cast and crew pieces recently from Mr Harald Lystad, who was General Manager of Fox Norway in the 70s, and had an instrumental part to play in the location shooting for Empire in Finse. I wasn't aware of his precise role in the production previously, and because of his very personal connection to the crew gear, and because it's an interesting tale in itself, I wanted to tell his story on the website - with his consent and approval, of course.

Mate it's such an interesting treasure trove of stuff you have. Every time I look on this thread I see things I've never seen! The UK food related items are so cool and I like those cassettes. I would like to score some of those patches. Keep up the good work :)

Cheers Robstyley! I do have some spare fan club patches, PM me if you like.

I've been having a cabinet reshuffle this weekend- Cliro, Addis and Deeko now in focus.

There's some bubble bath fun right there Andy and I can totally see why you went down this route with your collection as it really looks good on display and takes me back to my local co-op of the 70's :D

I've had a change around in my Detolf cabinet today, with a new focus on X-wing Fighters. I looked for fairly small vintage collectibles that feature the X-wing, to fill out the display, and was quite surprised how few I found.
