:| i have had an ebay account for years but never used it properly until last month when i started buying.

So far i seem to have avoided most of the "wallet inspector " type traps, thanks to info here.

BUT a lot of ebay sellers ID's seem to be girls names with nice cute things after them, like Maryfluffycakes45 or something but when you send em a message some guy called Tony or Something like that replies,,,, am i too sceptical of the bay or is this strangely normal??

I see it as a seller thinking if i put up a girls name everyone who buys star wars (guys) will trust me and be nice?? :) i dunno.

Yeah I think there may be an element of truth in this. Theres been a few dodgy ebay users with frilly names recently.

Martinigrl is a useless one I dealt with not long ago. Not to mention the shitebag that Ed has been dealing with. Maryjane something or other. Proper f*@king doosh! :|

yeah i'll second that Chris. The bastard that Ed has been having to deal with is MarilynJane25 (i think!) and I think i've noticed what others have said that recently there seem to be a lot of new ebayer names with womens names - as if that makes them a safer bet!

Yeah the whole girly name thing is definately going on. I think it is a fairly good "mask"- these were my brothers/ex boyfriend/dads etc. I have no idea what a blue snaggletooth is or how to package an unopened figure for posting- im not a collector. Its a load of horse ****. I must admit phsycologically in the past it felt safer buying off a fluffy girly pinky big titted ditsy blonde. Im avoiding sellers unless they are minimum of 200 feedback. Even then its a bit of a lottery :?

The female of the species is indeed more deadly than the male!

or .......Maybe there are a hell of alot of cross dressing nancy boys out there who like selling Vintage Star Wars toys under girly alter egos??? :|
