Is it just me or has.........

I haven't bought much this year on ebay and the majority of what I have bought has been presents or stuff for other people. Like many I'm not chasing that much stuff anymore due to collections or runs filling up and scaling down in the items/lines that are collected. The Star Wars section is...

Where did you get your Blue Snag and how much did it cost?

I got mine for less than $100 from Brians Toys in the late 90s, back in the day when Brian's Toys actually had proper specials within their weekly email.

Are Ebay ****ing about with Feedback, AGAIN?

Some sellers do bulk feedback leaving sessions and forget to take out the ones they wanted to leave something else for. The bad feedback is still there, only the feedback within the last 12 months now counts towards your score.

    Rare Palitoy 65D MOC

I paid about £20 for mine, few years ago and I don't think it was listed as a Palitoy. I've seen less 45 backs than the 65 back.

advice on made in mexico cards

It wasn't to do with altitude or changes in air pressure. The hole was there to relieve pressure when the bubble was applied. The initial techniques used in Mexico weren't good at sealing the bubble. However, they quickly got it sorted but still continued the card stock with the holes in it...

    Bit Of Advice Please!!

You can insure and get tracking but the price increase is quite dramatic, they also deliver it quicker using these methods. The £46 above was for basic no insurance (apart from standard insurance) and no tracking. With tracking it is £71 or £66 :o There must be a way of doing it cheaper...

    Bit Of Advice Please!!

I just looked into sending something weighing 5Kg to the US but airmail small packet rates stop at 2Kg and it seems the only way that it can be sent is with Parcelforce Worldwide - even their economy rate is about £46

    Bit Of Advice Please!!

The sad thing is that it would appear that less than 3 people have gone through with the non-paying bidder process. If 3 people had gone through with an NPB the account would have been shut down. It is pointless not filing the NPB as otherwise ebay keep the fees and tools like this go on...

just got this..have i over paid for it ?

Just before Christmas the woman in the queue in front of me at the PO was paying a customs charge for a play.com computer game from Jersey  I've bought stuff from play.com and had never heard of anyone paying duty until then. You could buy anything you like for £18 anyway and it may...

just got this..have i over paid for it ?

£33 was probably on the cheaper side of what they can go for - I'd say an average of £37-£45 although with the bubble being yellow (most are anyway) and with the tack hole and general descrption of the card being in fair condition probably a reasonable price. I am after a 77 back R5-D4...

    Bit Of Advice Please!!

Providing the lunatic buyer doesn't tick the echeque box and then that can take up to 18 days - with the usual torrent of "where is my stuff" emails and neutral feedback for slow shipping from the newbie bidder :x Paybay also make the bank payment the default payment, so you have to watch...

    Bit Of Advice Please!!

Come to think I've had a non paying Frenchman for a corgi car a good few years ago. I lost my 100% feedback a while back due to 1 negative retaliatory feedback, I'm now at 99.9% so it makes no real difference. Losing your 100% is one of the best things that can happen as you don't get so...

    Bit Of Advice Please!!

Regardless of what bullshit or genuine excuses people give me I always start the non paying bidder process after 7 days of no payment - I do however make sure that I explain that the process will be stopped upon receipt of the money. Once that process has been started it tends to concentrate...
