Just picked up another "non Kenner" Star Wars item. A very nice 1978 calendar along with the cardboard box it originally came in. I know these are pretty common but really cool, especially for $15 USD. Why not, right? :)

Picked this bad boy up the other day - wasn't cheap - although I did think for a while it might be (damn you eBay snipers)

Nice little Palitoy / Clipper combo

Great day at Farthest From, big thanks to Dave Tree for organising. I've got to say this was the best one yet for vintage trading, loads of well priced items on most stalls ranging from bargains to high end stuff, and great to see loads of people buying too.

I went along intending to just say hello and not buy anything, apparently now I collect baggies...

Alongside the baggies I also picked up these MOCs today. Yes I may have gone overboard

5 of them are from Nick, all a bit rough but display great and I just can't resist cheap beater MOCs, they remind me of my younger collecting days. Five carded figures for £100, collecting like it's 1999!

The short mouth Biker Scout is from Jez, had to get something from him today to help the cause!

2 pick ups from FF. Been after both for years but for some reason have never stumbled across any for sale. The Palitoy Rancor Keeper Mailer I have always wanted. I can remember seeing it being advertised in a bus stop when I was a child. The ESB-C Tie Fighter baggie has alluded me for years. I have no idea why. I have picked up all the other TFP baggies with ease, but this one always slips through the extremely tight net. So very happy with the Bank Holiday Mission.

Finally got round to framing this, a production used storyboard print that I got from Darren at Starzone a while back. I don't usually buy non-toy reated Star Wars things, but thought this was a cool piece of history to own and much more affordable than props etc.

I just added this Luke Jedi miscard ("Yan" Solo cardback) to the Meccano collection, thanks to my friend Ross Barr who was nice enough to let him go back to France ;)
Luke is packaged with no acessory but the correct palace blaster.

Wow, not only would you not get a Han Solo but you'd get a Luke Jedi with no cape or saber, I can just see a small child on the brink of tears trying to thank his granny at Christmas time!

Great item though :D
