Just had these two cheeky little chaps arrive earlier this week.

I've never seen one of those giant figures in the flesh. Even with the standard card next to it it's hard to gauge the size, but it must be massive.
 
Finally took the plunge last week thanks to UKgarrisson. Have been a silent stalker for a couple of years weighing up whether to get back into collecting or not. I thought it best to wait until prices were at an absolute premium before deciding to act......

Given the inflated state of the market, I must thank UKgarrison for making these affordable, ending a 20 year wait.

Don't think I will ever post anything quite so splendid again in my life! (Unless they were Palitoy)
 
Very nice, Sparky. Really like those two on the 12 backs. Superb pick up. It was great that the 12 (well, 11.....poor Jawa :lol: ) got split up between so many.
 
Yeah hopefully after the 12 back sale by UKgarrison, it should bring prices down a bit. When people see what you can get if you're patient, why would they want buy it now for upto 50% more than what those sold for. I came very close to buying the 70 grade Luke that was on eBay for several weeks at around £900 BIN. Glad I didn't get sucked into the hysteria. I need a Luke to complete my 12 back run, but have now learned to wait for good price.
 
I was in New York a couple of weeks ago and picked these up at a flea market in Greenwich Village in Manhatten, paid 10 bucks, they worth any more than that ?
2 sealed ROTJ Marvel comic book bags each with 2 comics in.
1 Yoda ESB belt.









 
Those Jedi comics are v. cool, particualrly in their bags :) They're worth a little more than you paid, but no stacks. Loose, they're £10 GBP, but in their bags and in the UK I reckon they're worth £25, maybe £30 on a good day.

Doc, you are one lucky guy. I complained since I was a kid I never got to unwrap an AT-AT or Falcon on my birthday and STILL no one takes the hint.....
 
Some Palitoy goodness arrived today. Saw this as a BIN on eBay. There have been some cheaper non graded versions sold recently, but didn't seem to be in as great condition, so concluded it was a good price for a guaranteed 80 grade. The seller had handily displayed his email address on the listing, so was able to arrange to buy it off of eBay for a lovely discount. Looks stunning in the flesh.
