Well its with a heavy heart I post this thread, but we are looking at having to move home soon & have decided that we will be letting 3 of our 4 welsh tri colour border collies go to new homes, we can have 2 at the new house but the landlords are not keen, so to keep the peace & the property we have decided to keep just the one, its very frustrating as we had been told we would have the property we are currently in for a minimum of a further 10 years, hence us having the 4 of them.

The 2 bitches are from the same bloodline & same litter & are 18 months of age, one (Fizz) is smooth coated with one blue eye & the other (Tilly) is heavy coated.

The male (Cae pronounced Ky) is long coated & is from a long standing sheep dog show winning bloodline & is a very handsome dog, though all are very attractive animals & is almost 3 now.

They are all fully trained & are very well behaved.

The money is not really an issue for us with them as a good home is the priority.

They have been brought up around children & are fine with other dogs & most animals.

I am sure you can see by the photos that they are well looked after & loved animals

Have a look at the photos & see what you think guys, I am happy for folks to come to see them if you wish, we have a 30 foot static caravan here, so if you wanted to stay over you are most welcome to do so, its a lovely part of the country & only a mile from one of the best beaches in Wales, I can also run a video of them playing for anyone wanting to sea little more of them, just LMK ;)

I won't be the 1st to think you were trying to rehome Tri Logo Border Collies.

Good luck with it. They look super and are one of my favourite breeds. My neighbour has 2 of them and have a super friendly smiley greeting.

Bloody hell Frank, that's brought a tear to my eye, they are beautiful ,really feel for you mate, that's going to be a wrench, but as long as good homes are found youll be ok, really hope someone on here can provide a loving home. It would finish me if my pal had to go, the very best of luck mate :D

I had to get one o my dogs put down a couple weeks ago. To cut a long story short it had a heart defect from birth.
It was gut wrenching and my g/f took it really bad.

There's no way she's seeing these photos though

Not in a good place mentally regarding this TBH, but it is what it is, so the sooner I face the sad reality the better, luckily one is now going to one of the neighbours who are animal lovers in the extreme & will be there 4th dog, so some good news already, they are also having all our chickens ducks & the geese, so thats a relief.

So Fizz has a good loving home sorted, just Cae & Tilly to get sorted with a loving caring home now.

& Rich just show your G.F the photos already!, they are no work at all mate & a real pleasure to be round.

I have posted them up here as available before thinking about anywhere else as I know you guys are all good sorts & I would really love to be able to stay in touch with whoever has them as we have had them there whole lives.

Its a total **** fit, but we have the opportunity of a fantastic place only 4 miles from where we are now, so all the children can stay settled at the schools where they are & I can tell you finding a place to rent where I live is like looking for gold plated rocking horse poo :| so we are stupidly lucky to have found somewhere else, just such a shame it comes with some restrictions, but the children have to come first.

Mate family always come first, but unless you have dogs you don't realise just how much they become a pat of the family.

Rich, that's sad news about your pal, I've had to take two Goldie s to be put down over the last 15 years...devastating.

Things will work out I'm sure great homes will be found

Yes sorry Rich bloody thoughtless of me  got my head really up my ass tonight with all the upheaval going on, really devastated for you both, nothing worse than losing your beloved pet & not many feelings worse, been there my friend, luckily only the once, I feel your pain & hope you both recover from the experience soon & manage to think of the good times you shared with him/her.

Really to sorry to hear you gotta do this. I know what it's like losing a dog. We had them when I was growing up as a kid, Mum still has three now. It's like losing a family member.

Heart goes out to you mate.

If I was allowed pets (tenancy agreements are bastards), and a third floor flat wasn't a **** place for a dog to live, I'd have them off you in a second.

:D No worries Frank. I'm 100% certain that we won't be having another but according to my browser history someone is looking for another one

Thank you for all the kind words of support guys, it really is like having to let a limb go & I am sure there will be an empty space in my heart for a long time after they go to new homes.

Well Rich if you wanted another dog collies do make for easy work mate as they are very bright & learn really easily & have a very even temperament.

Some good news already, one is off to the folks just round the corner & our second eldest down in leicester is going to have Cae, so just Tilly to find a good home for now.

Mate, only just read this
I'm so sorry to hear your news. They truly look adorable, alert and well behaved. I hope that this tale has the best outcome possible.

I feel for you and yours closest to you bro.

PS, and sorry to hear about your news too Rich.
