A Taiwanese grey pants Luke Skywalker? Lovely. We thought we knew a lot of variations in the 90's but now it's off of the scale.

Craig.

I saw this variation while crawling through craignwo4life's variants thread. His collection still is inspiring, such a shame he's gone already!

My original Talking R2-D2 went missing some time ago and all I've had is the box. It might turn up at some point but I've been on the lookout for a replacement.

I was very pleased to pick up a pair of talking R2-D2s on eBay that I can't help but show off here. One is working and has quite fresh looking white plastic. The chrome on the dome is in good condition but the blue paint is quite worn (I may look out for a replacement dome in my travels). The mechanism works fine.

The other one is quite yellowed (worse than in the picture) and unfortunately it has been left too close to the fire and is warped. The activation button is also warped so there's no telling if it works or not. The chrome on the dome is in pretty poor shape too.

The cost for the pair including postage was £36.09 which I thought was a real bargain.

I'll be putting the yellowed one up on eBay soon to claw back some of the cost. I'm not sure what a yellowed, slightly warped Talking R2-D2 is worth now days!

Craig.

Got my display stand from Christian at GW Acrylic. It will house my complete loose collection. And no I don't do variants :) no vinyl jawa or blue snaggle but I was born in 1981 so they were before my time.

If you need acrylic cases or display stands, speak to Christian.

Holy... someone else is up at this crazy hour.

Fantastic loose collection - especially the Max with non-faded arms. I'm liking it a lot.

I tend to display my figures with vinyl capes with the "collar" down. I don't know what the consensus on that one is.

Craig.

I had to buy a full Rebo Band to upgrade the Max. My existing one had a totally yellow body. Shifted the other 2 on straight away so was easy really.

Capes - I tend to leave them as they are. If they're straight or folded I just leave them that way.

Some excellent stuff on here over the last few days.
Particularly like the loose display Simon; something I am aspiring to reproduce over the coming years!

Cheers,
Jim.

Great display of loosies there Simon. Very nice set up :D

Having recently reduced my collection back to a minimum, I haven't been really buying anything new in the last few months. However, I came across this beauty by pure luck. Big thanks to Peter for parting with it so I could add it to the collection. One of the more difficult LFB cardbacks to track down :D

"Clipper" Luke Farmboy, ESB 45 back.

The DSD Popy looks brilliant! Those cases really do look good.

Another couple of bits for the focus - first off, this from Marc (coinnut) - 65 back Emperor offer

And second, a little oddball, but I really like it (and many thanks to ponchobelt for pointing it out to us - cheers :)) - a Gam Guard eraser

Some sweet pick ups guys. Couple more lego pilots inc a kubrick Luke
