Latest Acquisitions

Hi. Been busy since I joined getting a few figures together. I thought I should get some pictures up. Not really focusing on anything at the minute but probably gonna end up going towards MOC graded ROTJ.

Here goes.

Emperor baggie.

DSCF0781 (480x640).jpg

Darth Vader. Want it grading but I think it may have yellowed a bit too much.

DSCF0783 (480x640).jpg

X wing Luke.

Couple more but I can only do 3 attachments.

And lastly my favourite. Cheers Ham for letting us know about this one, and also to everyone who gave me advice when I was looking for it. (Plantman & Itfciain).

VC Jawa.

Thats all but hoping to pick up a couple of bits next month.

Lee. :D

Had no post here in a long time, so I FIGUREd it's time to post again.

Anyhow. Until yesterday I did only have 1 Biker Scout. But that has now changed, thanks to Ham.

Here you can see Cpt. Rex giving his new recruits a warm welcome to his squad. For those who don't know: Cpt. Rex is the one of the far left corner with the back turned to the cam. He joined the Biker Scouts 2 years after the Clone Wars after being promoted by no other than the Emperor himself and is responsible for education of weaponry.

And here they're all together, after I shouted "GROUP SHOT!!!" (Cpt. Rex on the far left side again):

In the 2nd pic one of the guys seems to be rather yellowish, but in person he isn't too much different from the others which are nicely white. :) Ham was also kind enough to search for blasters and found 3 more before posting the group.

Another addition which I didn't take a picture of is a book which I had ordered in December via Amazon US: Gus & Duncans Guide to SW Prototypes. So far I have only had a quick look into it and I can already say that it's a great book which shows a lot pictures of great pieces of SW vintage toy history. Even if I don't collect prototypes (not my cup of tea since most of the items are rather expensive) I think it's an amazing book to have.

Sadly my Kellerman still has not arrived and think it never will. :-/

EDIT: Forgot to mention: Biker Scout COOs: 6 x Hong Kong, 1 x Taiwan, Cpt. Rex is a Taiwan too. :)

Wow Lee, excellent, some main character MOCs i'd love to own. I'm very envious!

Dennis, I love the Biker Scouts, def one of the coolest armies.

They look sweet Dennis and also a lot whiter in your pics. ;) Btw there should be pretty much every Honk Kong and Taiwan variant there as in on which leg and how high up, tho don't quote me on that as may be more to add. ;)

Nice shot dude. What camera do you use?

Yeah, I noticed that they have diff variations of hight/left/right legs COOs, but didn't have to check how many diff there are and if these are all there are. Great. :)

I use a Canon 60D with 24-70 f2.8 L lens. Great combination I can def recommend.

Have to get you over here Dennis to take some shots... or I could just go and get a Canon myself! What's cheaper, your return ticket or the Canon? :p ;)

Jesus Lee, only just joined & flying away at the collection like a pro, the baggie is a ROTJ-c if it interests you ;)

& Dennis nice start to the ranks, I am sure you will be adding to it?

& I got a right bargain the other day which got to me today, totally at the other end of baggie collecting to my last post, has a bit of a hole in the bag but @ under a fiver I ain't arguing as I don't have this baggie/figure combo yet.

Frank, if your baggie bargain has arrived, mine must have too! :D

@Ham: The lens was about the same price as the cam. I think. I really don't remember, I wiped that memories from my brain after paying. ;) But I have taken superb pics of my son with it that are priceless. Need to work a lot on my skills though, but the cam is a flawless victory.
