latest film/ dvd you have seen

Tried to watch:
The Fountain of Youth
Agatha and the Curse of Ishtar
Both were switched off within 20 minutes!

Love the first two Home Alone films. Very nostalgic. The later ones are woeful, though.

Watched Cinema Paradiso for the first time in ages last night. Such a lovely film, with a fantastic, emotive soundtrack. A real love letter to the early days of cinema. Took some persuading to get my 19 year old son to watch it with us, but he loved it.

I worked in a cinema when this was released. It was released at about the same time as Guest House Paradiso (Rick Mayall). We were showing the latter and not the former, and on opening weekend had an enraged old dear that felt the film company had betrayed her as it was nothing like the trailer she'd seen 🤣🤣🤣

That's hilarious! People do get confused and I've had people be surprised when I say Cinema Paradiso is one of my fav films, because they think it's the Mayall film I'm talking about lol.

That's what I thought when I first read it, but I thought you had got the name wrong. It was only when I got to your third sentence I realised.

Watched the latest Mission Impossible film last weekend - better than I thought it was going to be to be fair.
First 3 are the best in that series as far as I'm concerned though - tailed off a bit after that...........
