There's been some fantastic items shown on here lately, congratulations to one and all.

I didn't know where to post this so if it needs to be in the Modern section please feel free to move.😀

I've managed to pick up something that has been on my radar for a while but never had the opportunity to aquire.
I have been trying to complete a run of 2019 Chicago Star Tots the last few years and have now🤞(some are still on route) completed that run.
Whilst talking to a collector on the FB groups these 2016 vehicle medallions came up In conversation.
I have liked the look of these vehicle medallions, and after a bit we struck a deal for all 12 and to top it off the display Star Destroyer.

They are a lot bigger than I expected.
Now to work out a way yo display them!

Colin, Carl, Alisdair, Mike, Nick- fantastic buys! 8)

Andy, that crew gear is absolutely superb!!!

Haven't bought much at all lately, but pulled the trigger on this nice Palitoy ESB AT-AT. Have had a really nice bi-logo one since the mid-nineties, but as it's all about nostalgia for me, got the ESB one, as it's what I remember. I remember looking at them all longingly, stacked up on a plinth at the entrance of Cirencester Tesco Home and Wear. It was number 1 on my Christmas list 3 years in a row, but never got one.

I dont normally post my items that i pick up but today I came across this full size fiberglass Han solo carbonite and instantly fell in love with it. I didnt know where I would put it and I still dont but the wife was with me and said it was cool so I bought it.
Hi mate, after listening to the podcast and seeing your comments on the Han Carbonite I just wanted to let you know that it's not one of the 1997 or so Illusive concept ones. The one you have is a custom build that has been doing.the rounds on Ebay for a good few years. Still a good piece for£250 though

I'm finally able, and delighted, to share my recent Prop Store purchase, a mixed lot of crew gear from the Norway film location shoot for The Empire Strikes Back. This lot perfectly complements the jacket and balaclava that I purchased from Mr Harald Lystad, and allows me to display a full production issued and used crew outfit (except for the goggles, which aren't production used but are the identical type). As a huge fan of the Hoth sequences in the movie, and the adversity that the cast and crew went through to get such wonderful footage, this really is a dream come true.

The hat has the name Kohler inside - location manager Philip Kohler - and the boots have the initials M G. I haven't yet identified who this might be on the crew.

I'm still looking for an outer pair of ski trousers (with the full zipper down the outside of each leg) if anyone can help, please?

Further information on the crew gear, and on Mr Lystad's part in the production, can be found here: https://www.ukstarwars.com/mr-harald-lystad

That's excellent. A boxed at at was for me one of the best things you could get as a child and still has the same appeal now.

Thanks for letting me know mate I new nothing about it before purchasing it. I just really liked it and after picking it up tried to find out some more information on them as we do.

Yes, one of a few bits. I got a Bossk candy head, loose AT-ST and an open bubble Palitoy Weequay as well. Did you go?
No, I've never been.
it's almost 4 hours away for me now, I will get to one but will have to stay the Friday night.
This one was a bit too close to the pandemic for me to be able to arrange that.
Glad that you had a great time.

been a while since I bought anything but managed to snag these bits yesterday... I fear I'm opening the rabbit hole of micro... and also any help on bits for my first go at making up a reseal on this bobba would be appreciated.. although I do love how whoever opened him originally then drew him on the space he left!!

That's some cracking items you have there and love the Droids R2 (as well as everything else lol). The Boba reseal might prove to be quite a tricky one as you're missing some of the litho to the right of where the bubble was and to do a really nice job you would need another card back to add this section. You could maybe go the custom route with that section though and even replace the bubble and nameplate from one of those kits that people sell but it's how original you want to display it.

Nothing's impossible though and I know @Michael Sith has done a lot of work with things like this so he might be able to point you in the right direction. You might however have no hope of not getting involved with some micro action, I know I tried to resist and failed horribly

What a collection…
Absolutely fantastic R2, I'm never in the right place to pick one of those up.
Enjoy the Micro Collection, a very underrated line.

thanks guts really chuffed, yep already got my eyes on more micro... also did think as card was so dodgy i may need to go custom as a place holder till i can get a better one... but also dont want to butcher a cardback with new... very conflicted

That cardback f or the boba is a bit of a challenge for a reseal mate, would look good with an acrylic cardback display with the fig in front of it ( check out GW Acrylic)
I was really lucky that Ian (Palifan) helped me out for my 21 back run. Fett,

Hi was hoping someone could help with identifying what series these stickers are—-they were in a box of items from my childhood. Everything I am seeing online has a background around the sticker like in with card 10. Thanks!

By coincidence, to fit with this month's podcast, Mark Catley very kindly arranged to get this new Zealand version of the toltoys escape from death Star board game to me. As far as I can see the only difference from the Australian version is the address on the back.

i think I only have the Venezuelan version to go now to complete the run.

A couple of modest pickups yesterday.
Never had General Lando as a kid.
I promised myself that I wouldnt try chasing down the Last 17 that I dont have amongst my childhood collection because of the prices of some of them.
Incomplete Lando was a fair price, however.
Stormtrooper is whiter than my childhood figures, so had to get him.
