Mystery blaster acquired, do you recognise it?

Hi!

Recently got back into vintage star wars figure collecting and recently acquired a bunch of original weapons.
One of them I don't recognise though and am sure it's not star wars? It looks to be from the same period but have no idea who it belongs too. It's a small green blaster:

No idea on the blaster I'm afraid but can help with the image

My first thought was Star Trek. Looks familiar, like it's from a tv\movie toy line

This is a zartan pistol, it was not the one that came with the V1 figure in 84 though it was the one that came in the battle gear accessory pack (number3) that was the same pistol but green instead of the standard black.
Yeah gi joe took over from the original action force line and then hasbro released gi joe figures under the action force banner until i think it was 1985 when they then started to just release them under the gi joe banner and action force died..... sad times
