Like those signed pieces :D

When the Phantom Menace came out in 99' Ray Park was due to make an appearance at the Forbidden Planet fantasy shop in Leeds....I were gonna get a few carded Darth Maul figures signed by him but unfortunately he pulled out of the appearance because he had done a signing at another shop a week or so earlier (can't remember where know but it wasn't Leeds) and there was a stink in the local press about him charging £10 a signature, the local rag basically **** on him for 'jumping on the bandwagon' and making money from the fans that was going straight into his pocket....

I were ****ing livid at the local press for bollocking it up....I would have paid the cash no probs (I weren't doing it to sell the figures on either, they were for my own collection and I still have the Darth Maul figures I were gonna get signed anyway, but remain un signed).....I went to the shop the day he was to appear and there were a lot of pissed off fans so it wasn't just me that was pissed off with the Yorkshire/Evening Post paper

That is really crap that happened, all the actors charge a fee for an autograph as it helps stop the greedy scum from trying to make money from selling autographs on Ebay etc. I got these to add to my Vader and Fett black 6" figures that I also have signed, nice little collection when they are together :)

If you don't already have it the 300th figure Boba is amazing, also if I remember correctly there was a Sage version of Slave 1 that came out early/mid naughties that had an excellent fett included and in a great display box so no need to open anything.

Ive seen the Star Wars 300th Special Edition Boba Fett (comes in two versions) but I am not keen on the box mate ---- i only like the vintage look to be honest ---- what is sage version - anyone got a picture of what it look like ?

Not buying anything until me and Russ have decided on how to display them --- in what cabinet design etc :D

Can't post images as I'm on an iPad but this looks NHS to the jeditemplearchives site:

It was part of the original trilogy range, not saga

True that, actually watching these posts and seeing some of this stuff again is bringing back longing memories, not enough to start out collecting it again, but I am glad that the modern lines are getting more and more love these days and great to see stuff popping up.

As for cost the slave 1 along with the other 'display' vehicles from that line and the preceding power of the Jedi line always commanded a premium, I would guess you are into three figures for them now, I think they were 50ish rrp back in the day to begin with.

Its really cool boba for £15 its a bargin mate ---- seen lots on ebay too but all the china ones are fake so beware of them

You got that from starwar men store?

Yes mate he has a lot of modern, some vintage been a few times, he is a really nice guy to deal with, had a nice boxed Palitoy slave one complete but that was a little pricey for me.

That is a cool looking slave 1 very nice open box display, ace! and mike that fett looks like a bargain, there are a lot of fake fetts out there but they are pretty easy to tell as the box says star walls on it, yours looks like the real deal and goes for around 45 on ebay very nice pickup :D

One of the more annoying to get hold of Slave Leia items, in decent condition.

The concept of the figure is really cool. One figure and tons of accessories. Including a cheeky framed pic of Han Solo, Wicket the ewok and the lovely zip carry bag to carry it around in..
