Great stuff stuff June. :D

The first one with the evil corn, not a GMO reference is it?

My Fave is the Spongebob gang. Anything with Swidward in it gets my vote.

Seen as I suggested the thread, thought I'd better put something up, which proves that any level is ok, it's a bit of fun, as is demonstrated by my attempt

Nice stuff June, love the mickey mouse!

Cool sketches Michael!

There's some very nice talent on this board! Wait until you see Ryans stuff! 8)

Here are some of mine, most of the guys on here have seen them though (The star wars ones anyways)
I rarely finish stuff these days, was considering a sales thread, but I've had some bad experiences when it comes to commissions, but maybe someday...
(lots of pics!!!)

Ok, I'll stop now, couldn't decide which ones to show you, so went a bit overboard.... :P
I also do crafts, like knives, cups, drums and sorts, but I'll save those for another day...

Wowsers :o

Love your style and the quality.

Sometimes unfinished can work so much better, just look at Ep4.

@Michael Sith: Cool Sketches, I really like the Indy one.

@Tundra9: Dude I love those pcs man! Your nice with the pen bro. I want a Bespin Luke B-Boy Style Bro!!!! PM coming soon!!! Word.

Some very talented people here. I have to say I have very poor ability myself, which makes me all the more impressed by the work of you guys 8)

Fantastic work fellas, love seeing artwork from different people.

June they look great mate, you can tell you had a great time drawing those mate keep it up. The Batman and Superman one is a lot of fun.

Jorn, Wow bud truly incredible work . Your handle on the female form is bloody impressive mate, love the feel of your art and the figures have so much motion they look as though they are about to break from the paper and move. They would make for awesome animations. Especially love the woman dancing and the ewok attack.

Some very talented guys on here.

June, what's going on in your head dude? Devil corn? :?

Jørn that Never Ending Story piece is fantastic. Would love to see that in colour!

The Neverending Story is awesome... One of my all time favourites.

Thanks Bram, appreciated! :)

Great idea for a thread, Mike- and glad you took the initiative June and got the ball rolling... fascinating to see so all this talent out there.

Love the ad you did for Comic Book Heaven, June... I didn't notice the sinister looking Batman at first sight- he just kind of looms out at you... awesome :D

Mike, you're a demon with the pen and ink... that's some cracking super hero work going on there

Jørn, I'm glad you had trouble deciding what to put up, as it meant such a wide and varied selection was made for us all to ponder over. Superb stuff- your flowing pencil line looks effortless... you can't be taught that kind of confidence. Wonderful talent. Hats off to you, Sir

Only in the past couple of days have I started painting again, after a ten year hiatus. I got to thinking about doing something for my future Star Wars display, and that got me priming canvas ready for some daubing once again- nothing special, but it feels good to be getting back into it :D

I've had a look on my laptop for some images of my paintings I've done over the last couple of decades, but they must all be backed up on disc. Here's an image from Glasgow Art Fair back in 2004 that I had on my Facebook album. Sounds fancy being represented by a gallery... but they dropped me like a hot potato once my work wasn't flavour of the month anymore  The art world is a cut-throat place to be in! Still, it was fun while it lasted

Jorn. Awesome stuff buddy, very talented

Love the fett 8)

Martin  exhibited...awesome buddy, try and get some pics of your work up mate
I'm in awe of people with artistic talent, you guys should be very proud of your talents 8)

I'm a very frustrated artist, the frustration is borne out of not having any natural talent
But love the calming effect it gives, and every now and again, you do get something that's ok
Tried pastel, water colour and acrylic, but love pen and. Ink

I knew there would be some talent on here, great to see and I'm sure there some fantastic pieces to come

Come on guys don't be shy, if I'm prepared to put my non talent out there, amidst this cool stuff..then what have you got to lose

Kind words, Mike- I thank you. There's some back-up discs in the loft that go way back, I'll take a look up there at some point and dig out a few photos of some paintings.

I've got a heck of a lot of respect for you guys that do this for a living, I had a go at it for a couple of years a decade ago- and while being successful at the time, I didn't respond well to pressure, which was ultimately my downfall :? To be honest, I'm much happier driving a fork lift truck in my current job, and getting a regular wage to pay the mortgage (and purchase some vintage goodness) every month! Bit of a cop-out, I know... but it's been good to get back into painting just for the pleasure of it.

Ryan, I regularly visit your website and marvel at your work- any chance you could post some 'exclusives' on this thread? By the way, I love the Popeye mural- where did you do that? Looks the business :D

June, Tundra and TC...great stuff.

Hey June...I used to write with a Kat that used June as his name. I thought that was pretty cool. I was good with letters but not with characters. I miss those days but in my line of work....I can't. :(

If you guys are up for doing some work for a pin idea I have for C7 that would be awesome. Props would go to either and I would be willing to work something out per say.

That's cool :D I also knew a dude who wrote June lol I used to write MOB ONE. Did u live in the Bronx????? Just curious

Hey Michael sorry mate I missed your link, great sketches mate you certainly have a talent keep it up and post them up as you do more.

Thanks Martin, there's not to many people who can claim they've been exhibited, I certainly haven't so well done mate I'd love to see some more of your work if you can find it. I fully understand what you mean by the pressure, it gets unbearable at times especially doing commission work. Working with editors is also fun!

Thanks for the comments on the website too, the Popeye mural was from a few years ago when I was still doing airbrush work. It was in a doctors waiting room to keep the kiddies calm. Not sure too many of todays generation of kids would've even known who Popeye is

Here's some work some of which I've shown before and other stuff which is more the type of work I do on a daily basis. I do a lot of work for the transport industry here is Aus, hence the vehicles.

Fantastic work, Ryan- I'll bet you've got an endless amount of commissions coming in judging by the quality of the pieces you've shown here :D That 12 metre long marquee mural looks insane  also great to see the preliminary sketch. Keep up the good work, pal
