(By the way i'm not counting Titanic or Romeo and Juliet  )
I am...
Inception was pretty good. The concept was excellent and tho complex, i didn't find the plot confusing.
Listen carefully and see if i got it right... they, being dream manipulators so to speak, have to go in a dream within a dream within a dream of a guy to plant an idea deep in his psychi in order that he will, thinking the idea is his, defer his late fathers business and fortune so that that other guy can reap the wealth. They go 3 dreams deep because that deep down in the mind, when they plant this IDEA, he will now think it is his idea. Each dream 'level' also has a different time varient, ie; -
10 hrs in the real world = 4hrs Dream level 1
4hrs Dream level 1 = 1 hr dream level 2
1 hr dream level 2 = 10mins dream level 3 and vice versa,
That is to say, if you spent 10hrs in dream level 3, you have been under for like, 2 years in real time.
Man, it IS complex. But it does make sense.
The problem i had, is the story is just very thin. It's all concept. Everything you see is designed to see, to go ooooh... The characters are ultra thin and difficult to care about. The characters and environment/world we see are given next to no back story or explanation. And the whole plot to steal the rich guys cash is really secondary to everything else, which is nothing. Just the concept. There just isn't much point or base to any of it.
HAving said that, it's a good watch for the amazing effects and THAT concept, which is an interesting one and the whole time differential of the dream layers was very clever i thought and well put together for that end sequence.
Anyway, that's my two cents.
Like has been said, it's basically an attempt at a new Matrix but nowhere near as good.
