So after the preview a few days, this is the complete list of new pages:

A lot of time and effort has gone into getting the new section of the site up to a certain standard, I must publicly say a huge thanks to Jarrod Clark who has spent his time editing images for me without grumbling once (even when I get bossy and send them back for him to do again :grin: ) and also to everyone who submitted images for the new section - Our resident MIB expert : Emiel (capetown), Lars (Pomse2001) and Mirco (Mikeskywalker) - Thank you all for your help and I hope you like are happy with the outcome!

Joe, outstanding work. It has turned out to be a thing of utter beauty!

And, PM coming regarding something I have just thought of.
 
Just updated the following pages -

Vehicles - Added the incredibly rare X-Wing and Y-Wing vehicles.

Mini Rigs - Finished off the Mini rigs with the addition of the MTV-7

Creatures - Added a GMJ Rebo band variant to the creatures section.

That's all for now, I can go back to sleep for the rest of this month

Absolutely brilliant Joe! 8) Well done for getting a pic of the X-Wing contents!

I had hoped Stéphane would have a picture of the Y-Wing box contents too. Or is it incomplete?
 
By the way, for uniformity's sake it may be best to call the X-Wing and Y-Wing X-Wing Fighter and Y-Wing fighter, just like you did with the B-Wing.
 
Thanks Emiel, yes I will try to get a contents shot when I can, Stephane never showed one on RS when he announced the discovery and I was just happy to get a new shot of the box to be honest so forgot to ask for a contents picture lol, I think however that with it being so rare there is no danger of anyone wanting to check the contents of the Y-Wing matches what they have (because they won't have one! lol) but I agree it would be nice to have a shot, see if I can get one :)

Will also edit the names, I must admit I was running on empty yesterday while editing the pages so I am glad that is the only thing I forgot lol
 
Youve done something truly amazing here Joe. I know I dont collect Tri Logos but the quality of info and time invested in the site is truly remarkable. Youre an asset to the hobby mate.

Yes I must agree its a topping effort Joe- I have been absorbing some tri logo info this morning.

Thanks for all the time you have obviously sinked into this. The interviews especially are awesome!

Maybe you could think about doing a tri logo podcast? :wink:
 
Did you see Joe that the MTV-7 pictured does not have special tri-logo instructions like the other tri mini rigs? I wonder whether they have never existed or whether there was a switch at some point in the history of this particular MTV-7.

Edit: same goes for the X-Wing instructions by the way.
 
Chris, Mark and Ed - Thank you very much, I really enjoy working on this, in fact a site is something I think I should have done many years ago but I got there in the end, as long as it is interesting to read for others and helps people with their collections I will keep it going!

Emiel- Yes I spoke briefly with JC about the Spanish version and he stated that the ROTJ Palitoy instructions were the only ones included with the MTV-7 in Spain, I guess that would be the case all over Euroep? It is strange that an instruction sheet wouldn't be updated for a mini rig yet the entire box front of the Y-Wing was redone. I guess at times they just used what they had and there may well have been a lot of earlier instructions sitting around?

The more I learn about boxed stuff the more interesting it becomes and hopefully there will be more updates to the site in the future!

Sorry Mark forgot to answer that question, I was asked by the owner if he could remain anonymous however he did say should I get some insane offer for it to let him know :lol:
 
Did you get the guy to take the measurements of the box? I'm curious whether it's smaller than the other X-Wing boxes.

Here is your answer!

The X-Wing Box is really smaller than all other X Wings. It´s only around 30cm high and 38cm wide
