As for Adam, he doesn't grasp how in the wrong he is. He'll argue til the end that he's without fault.While I completely understand that all the going back and forth has hurt BOTH of our reputations in some peoples eyes, I had a watch out thread on Adam, that he convinced mods that we'd settled our issue, and had gotten the thread removed. My bringing up his shitty actions towards me and other collectors in his thread was just to make sure that he didn't have free reign to pull that on someone trying to buy his MT's.
a package taking an extra week to arrive is far less severe than offering someone an item at x set price, then extorting another 1k out of them for it, after they've given a deposit.

Joe I don't know either of you or Adam apart from the odd comment on a post, but Adam's for sale thread makes both of you look ridiculous, whoever is in the right.

Thank god. That thread is a mess. I can only echo what has been said about this making neither party sound good. I will also say that the mods have acted too slow on this. It may be true that they have all been busy of course which is fair enough, but a lot of dirty washing has been aired over this. Not good for the forum or the parties involved.

I usually stay out of such threads but feel I have to say 1 thing & 1 thing only - more than 3 days after payment to sending is to much no matter what the personal circumstances short of illness or bereavements IMO, I live bloody miles away from a post office being in the middle of nowhere but even when my transport has been out of commission I make sure buyers whether here ebay or other forums get there purchases in a timely manor, its just not nice waiting for something you are expecting for an eternity.

I'm only a new comer to the whole forum thing but I've got to say that whole thread was embarrassing to read.

Joe, I don't know you or Adam and It's fairly obvious you feel aggrieved by Adams treatment of you in the past, but, Hijacking someone's for sale thread and turning it into a **** fight for all to see you've now got to expect people to be talking about it. You baited him into a fight he bit and bang you find yourself on another forum defending yourself. As Pete said I wouldn't trade with either of you after that display, so you may have done it to warn others to stay away from Adam but in the process you've warned us all about the both of you.

If you wanted to warn the community and you knew all this stuff, then why hadn't you come forward sooner? Why didn't Tim or whoever it was who got shafted with the coins come forward sooner?

I posted a watch out thread on Adam when the initial skrew job he pulled went down. HE convinced the mods that we had solved the problem and that all was well. I've been trying since then to get the original thread re-posted. I'm working out some details with moderation on RS to get that accomplished. I was trying to warn and keep more people from having to deal with Adam's bait,switch,and extort tactics. As for Tim not coming forward sooner, you'd have to ask him.

I'm not exactly defending myself here, just clarifying more than anything. If you don't want to deal with me then your loss,not mine. I'm one of the most honest sellers you'll find. IF anything I intentionally photograph my items so that they look worse than they do in person, as I try to use the lighting to show off any flaws the piece has as opposed to trying to hide them. And I honestly doubt that you have or will ever have an item that I "need" for my collection for sale. I'm not saying that to be elitist,cocky or aloof, I'm saying that because my area of specialization in the hobby(bootlegs) is very narrow and I have 90% of the "grail" level items that exist in that subsection of the hobby.

I had forget about that thread that went up and down. But obviously the moderators where convinced enough at the time to do so I guess.
Obviously is wasn't enough of an issue for Tim either I guess or we would of seen one from him also. Either that or he just didn't want to burn that bridge. Something that happens often in this hobby so he wouldn't be the first. Very righteous. :lol:

I'm not the type to NOT call someone out on actions that they'll likely repeat. There are other collectors that he's done this to as well, I'm guessing that they like getting screwed over because they're not stepping up either. IMO Tim did step up to help shut Adam up when I was being accused of not having my facts straight with his post in the thread. I don't expect many others to be as confrontational as I am. Stepping up to call someone out just (as we see here) puts you in the crosshairs of people that like to stir the ****.
