Hi guys,

Don't know if its just me but I just went on to my saved searches on evilbay and they are all buggered for want of a better word...

Does anyone know what is going on?

Cheers.

Bram

Do they have a room full of people just thinking of ways to drive their customers away from the site?

Does that mean all the items i specified. ****ing specified, are no longer for sale it the ****ing places i want them to be?

or is everything ok :|

Ebay have reclassified them in an appropriate category, or not as the case may be.

In other shocking late night news, Stephen Hendry, the wonder bairn, has quit snooker.

Think I might have to lie down until all the excitement has past.

Yes mate, exactly that.

They have got rid of the Figures Original Carded and put it in TV & Movies so my search that got 6-800 figures with people listing the odd stuff in their anyway now gets 66,000!!

What a joke!

Plus I got an automated email response to my strongly worded email last night, to which they got a rather annoyed response!

Muppets!

First time Ive searched since reading what you guys have said about ebay. Its a load of ****ing bollocks. Its taken me 15 minutes to find any resemblance of Star Wars. Then most auctions it brings up are American, wheres all the English auctions gone???!!! :?

Nice of Ebay to fore-warn everyone as well.

It genuinely amazes me that they still have a business

This is insane  What the **** is Ebay doing.

It is not easy to find the items you want now.

They have maid categorys for many of the new toy items.

But nothing for vintage.

I am in shock, I need to lay down

Ebay are looking for high volume buy it now sellers who sell new items in bulk. They don't care about the little people who got them started these days. Looking at the categories they came up with it looks like nobody who knows anything about toy collecting was involved in choosing the categories.

They've neither bothered acknowledge my email nor responded to it either. Judging from the feedback I am seeing I don't think we are alone in our thoughts and complaints about this. Still I don't reckon they are going to change it back, the Muppets.

ball bags

have just noticed this - reckon it is bad news for sellers like me as I list a lot in the vintage section. I can't believe that have done away with it completely - what a set of muppets

Let me translate that for you...

"Dear Liam,

please **** off!

Thank you, Ebay"

It is literally retarded at the moment. There is an item on my watch list that is IMPOSSIBLE to find in a search, even if I put the exact item name in the search box. I only found it by pure luck as it was in one of those 'items you may be interested in' boxes. If searching doesn't help you find stuff, you might as well give up as browsing the categories is no longer worthwhile due to all the junk in them.
