Just seen SSN do a piece on a Harry Kane tweet about wanting to keep up momentum. The bod in the studio then said something about how Harry was "all about the team".

You have to remember with Spain, France and Germany that form is temporary and class is permanent. Argentina were very poor in every game but once those teams get out of the group stage anything can happen. Right now Uruguay and Croatia look like they could upset the big teams.
tbh I have watched a few of these quality footballing nation and im not impressed with any of them, Germany crap, Argentina crap, Spain not much better, Portugal is just Ronaldo, I think England could do any of these teams looking at the way they are playing, never know could be our year!

Germany out in the group stage for the first time ever! 4 of the last 5 winners have gone out in the group stage as holders in the next tournament. France 2002, Italy 2010, Spain 2014 and Germany 2018.

I only saw 20 mins of Germany game but they were pish. Neur getting skinned for the South Korean second was comedy gold. He loses the ball 10 yards outside South Korea's box, he's Germany's keeper FFS.

I know it's garbage but at least we don't need to beat them to qaulify, that would be a lot worse. Thing is for me Japan is a buy to the qaurters, but Colombia could easily knock us out. No easy games though.
I see what you mean Edd, that Danny Rose is a quality defender. His token effort for that goal was impressive.
Not a bad result, all considered. Colombia are a better team than Japan, but both are very beatable. Win that and it's as nice a run to the final as you are realistically going to get.
Saying that, that was a shite game and England didn't create a lot. Yes, it was a second string, but you were playing Belgium's second string.
