First medal on snow in the Olympics in the 90 years since Winter Olympics started

No wonder the Brit commentary team went mad and they are friends of the medal winner...so good on em I say :D

"Other comments included: "She's got a face that could help bread rise"; "this feels like I've got slugs in my knickers"; and "riding switch [back-to-front] is like writing left-handed while wearing a chip hat and being attacked by seagulls".

As Jones waited for her score, Leigh noted: "I can feel my pulse in my lower intestine."

"That's not your pulse, Ed," Warwood replied."

  "this feels like I've got slugs in my knickers" FANTASTIC.

I've worked with Ed Leigh in the past on some snowboard events/ tv work, a good lad but a lot of nonsense.

The women's ski slopestylet this morning is very good.

I love all the Slope style and Half Pipe stuff, but nothing is as nuts as the Moguls! Just watching them makes me feel as though I need an knee replacement.

Tell me about it! Its unreal! I cant bear to watch it! it sends shivers down my spine

Great result on the medal win...

I didn't watch it live but that commentary does sound a bit ropey. :?

By all means get excited, let a few dodgy comments slip through in the excitement. This was always going to happen with a friend of a competitor in the box and can add to the atmosphere for the viewer.

But cheering another competitors failure, not very professional, not in the spirit of the games, and its just not British.

BTW I am not a skier

****in hell that halfpipe yesterday was ropey. The majority of riders were struggling to get to the other side due to the slushy flat section.

Having riden a half pipe half the size of the Sochi one I can tell you just getting up To the lip takes big balls. These things are normally hard as concrete top to bottom, you don't half know about it when to hit the deck in one of these things.

Amplitude and grabs were defiantly what the judges where looking at yesterday.

The snow is defo melting fast, more like spring conditions.
