Three simple points to consider:
1. Regulations we rely on to protect you at work are enshrined in EU law.
This Law is upheld by the European Court of justice, and provides workers with critical workers rights such as paid holiday, fair working hours, equal rights for part time workers, maternity and paternity leave. Will these rights be championed by the politicians that will be leading our country?
2. On leaving the EU our standard of living is at risk.
Uncertainty is detrimental for an economy ( as we are seeing already) reduced confidence in investment, less spending in the economy itself, possible interest rate rises, possible mortgage rate rises, prices increasing, job losses....the list goes on.
3. Public Services
Our public services have already been hit, now a weaker economy will reduce government spending, on everything from the NHS to policing and education, these areas are stretched massively already, how much more can they be stretched.
The above 3 points were sent out to members of a very large organisation that I will not name, but as guide points to bear in mind prior to voting for anyone that needed some idea on possible outcomes of a vote to leave.
Why the hell did so many people vote to leave, it astounds me!,
