Shaun and Brandon, there is a thread somewhere that explains what most of the abbreviations mean.

Welcome on board.

I seem to remember that thread and didnt it go slightly OT and abusive at one point. Obviously abusive in a good way!! :D

Anyway welcome to the boards.

Steve

Threads on here NEVER go OT and are NEVER abusive...you should know us Mod's clamp down on that sort of behaviour in double quick time!

Lives; wicklow ireland
married ; hell no
kids; hell no x 2
occupation ; youth worker, outdoor instruct.

just moved house and started to put the star wars stuff together in one box, that got me thinking and i had a look around to see what was what.
i have a few bits but its all the ships and figures i knew i had and lost etc since 1977.

however now i am gonna collect a few of the ones i have lost or always wanted.

And yeah loose is fine condition not too important and just would like the figure or ship.
but i bet thats how some of the hardcore collectors started,, a han there, snaggletooth here.
And BAM before ya know it mainline everyvariation or every figure loose carded and coloured funky.

this will be fun.

Hi all,

quick intro:

Tim
42 yes old...
2 kids

I have all my loose figures from when I was a kid, and the backing cards they came on. I want to make a nice display with them, and perhaps add the stuff I did not get like a blue snagg etc. I look forward to sharing my memories of by collecting exploits from the 70's!!

Welcome chaps - it's always good to see new faces. I hope you stick around

Well I finally got around to activating my account so here I am. Some of you may know me from Rebelscum where I post under Michael_Ritter. I focus on R2-D2, both production and preproduction. I also collect basic vintage and modern SW. Hopefully I will be around here ever so often and be able to answer some questions or just help out in general.

Hi!

Funny story - on a recent trip back to my family home i was asked by the Olds to "clear out your crap from the loft pls!". So i had a climb/crawl into the attic and what did i find? All my old Star Wars stuff! Much to my wifes disgust and therefore my endless pleasure i have now brought it all back to my own place! :D I have to be honest i wasnt really sure what my intentions were when i fisrt brought it back, a lot of the items (most of the vehicles/ewok village/Dagobah etc) are all still boxed and therefore take up a lot of space in what isnt the most massive of houses and i'd be lying if i said i didnt think about selling at least some of the larger bits, and i still might - which is one of the reasons i looked up the forum. But having a look through the gallery pages at some of the collections people have accumulated is genuinely proper inspiring! So i've decided to organise what little space i have in the office/"man cave" and get it up on display where possible!! So, as i intend to be on the forum a fair bit from here on, i figured a little bit more about myself is a good place to start....

Name: Matty
Age 31
Lives: Worcester
Married: Yup!
Kids: Working on it.
Occupation: Civil Servant/Poker Player
Hobbies/Interests: Rugby, Fishing, Working Out, Eating Out,
Star Wars Collection: Lotta boxed vehicles, 90 or so loose figures, including around half of the last 17, quite a bit of assorted Star Wars merchandise (Artwork Portfolio print collections, random merchandise etc etc)
Favorite Star Wars Character: Gotta be Darth Vader!

Looking forward to using the forum regularly and getting to know everyone as i get it all sorted out, will post some pics soon as its on the way!

Cheers!

MATTY.

Welcome aboard!
Get some pics up of your collection, would love to see it 8)

Aye, that's what I thought. Bit of a random choice. Just wondering if there is a reason why Josh went for it.

He likes Alien/s films?

I collect the Kenner Aliens toys myself, he might collect them too I think? Or did at one time?
