I always kept them save but now i want to expand my collection. I ve been reading all over the internet about collecting vintage star wars until i came to this site and i started reading! Great people, great feedback and a helpfull community, so i decided to register and introduce myself.

Good evening to all. My name's Mark. An original collector as a kid in the 70s and 80s. Had most of everything up to POTF. Gave it all away when I discovered girls and football. Had a renaissance in the mid 90s when I got my collection back and completed it with the last 17 and the one thing missing from my childhood collection- Palitoy Death Star! Left the hobby again when I first became a home owner but for the last few years have been a long time lurker on here. Have got about 30 carded figures, not AFA and deffo worried I have a TT or two. All bought between 1992-1995.

Followed the TT saga from start to finish and thought that the job Mr Palitoy and co did with their investigation was worthy of commendation. A very impressive investigation using open source material.

So now I've had the balls to post be nice to me!

Hello all,

My name is James and collector of loose figures, about half my figures I've owned since playing with them as a kid. These can be spotted in my collection from the nail varnish painted on their feet, to identify them when I took them round my mate Chris's house.

Collecting - Loose Figures/Variants and Micro Collection
Character Focus - Luke Skywalker Jedi Knight

Look forward to future discussions
