Jimi Woolley said:Hello!
My name is Jimi and I'm a 34 year old father of 2 boys from Derby. I was a massive Star Wars fan as a kid and had a pretty good played with collection. My mum then gave this collection to one of her friends kids. I did agree but I was probably a grumpy teenager listening to Nirvana at the time and no longer interested in Star Wars! Big mistake.
A few years ago I decided I'd buy a few vintage figures and got the bug. I'm about half way through collecting a decent loose collection, have a few loose vehicles and a few rough MOC figures that I've bought mainly through eBay.
I also decided to buy my first son a new figure for birthday and Xmas each year and I have done the same for my second son. I....sorry they!.... now have 10 MOC Vintage Collection figures (plus a few waiting for their birthdays and Christmas this year)
Anyway, I'll stop waffling and say hello again!
Cheers
Jimi

This got me interested in vintage figures again so I did a bit of research and checked out eBay and rebelscum etc. Started to buy a few figures, didn't have a clue what I was doing. Over the last 6 years I've learnt and am still learning what it's all about and I'm gradually collecting a set of mint vintage loose figures. Collect ROTJ carded figures, vehicles and any other vintage stuff I like, loose and boxed. Also have some modern carded figures and ships and I'm getting into props, weapons and helmets etc. I wanted to come on here to hopefully meet some decent SW enthusiasts/collectors to buy from, sell to, learn from and discuss with. From what I've seen so far it looks like a good resource with people who actually know what they're talking about! Looking forward to getting involved![]()

Just John said:Hi all. My name is John, I'm 40ish and live in Ireland. If I'm honest I'm just here to see if anyone is interested in buying my collection of loose figures. I toyed with the idea of collecting but as I have enough other collections I've decide to clear out my old toys. I even promise to offer them here first and not go near ebay! I'll post my stuff in the valuations board soon.
