Welcome one and all, here's where the fun begins!!!!

Welcome to the forum; Johan, Paul, Adam, Dan, Richard and Jon.

Have any of you joined up because of the Podcast?

I hope you all enjoy it. Great to see 2 more from Brizzle, my spiritual home and where most of my family still live.

Hi everyone,

I'm Kayleigh, I work at Aston's Auctioneers and am lucky enough to get to handle all of the Star Wars toys that come our way.

I love action figures and TV related toys, but I don't collect anything at the moment (I'm a completist and too scared to start). I just enjoy having the toys in my hands for a few weeks!

I've been lurking for a long time, and have finally joined up after meeting some of you guys at Farthest From.

Been hovering around, dipping in, having a read, then dipping out, for a while. Heard the podcast and decided to take the plunge! Love the podcast, helps educate me a bit more each time I listen. Hats off to all involved.

Thanks!:)
Hopefully soon I will write/post something interesting. It's always hard to be the new guy and just jump in, for various reasons.

Hi all
Im Colin from Bolton im 43 married 2 kids 1 cat named Tekken and a little Shih Tzu named Teebo and have always loved Star Wars and over the past 12 months i decided to start collecting.
Reason for starting collection is because my kids have all grown up (but i havent) and one has flown the nest and i now have a spare room :D so display cabinets have gone in lol.
i was introduced to the forum by Iain after buying some figures off him and my main focus is collecting loose figures
       :D

Welcome to the forum Colin - a bit of advice though don't go crazy buying loose figures left, right and centre, take your time you'll enjoy it more.

Hello!

My name is Jimi and I'm a 34 year old father of 2 boys from Derby. I was a massive Star Wars fan as a kid and had a pretty good played with collection. My mum then gave this collection to one of her friends kids. I did agree but I was probably a grumpy teenager listening to Nirvana at the time and no longer interested in Star Wars! Big mistake.

A few years ago I decided I'd buy a few vintage figures and got the bug. I'm about half way through collecting a decent loose collection, have a few loose vehicles and a few rough MOC figures that I've bought mainly through eBay.

I also decided to buy my first son a new figure for birthday and Xmas each year and I have done the same for my second son. I....sorry they!.... now have 10 MOC Vintage Collection figures (plus a few waiting for their birthdays and Christmas this year)

Anyway, I'll stop waffling and say hello again!

Cheers
Jimi

Hey Jimi! Welcome to the forum! 8)

Name's Andy. Born in 75' and was bang into the films and the toys in the early 80's. About 7 years ago an old friend gave me a SW Han and a Chewy. This got me interested in vintage figures again so I did a bit of research and checked out eBay and rebelscum etc. Started to buy a few figures, didn't have a clue what I was doing. Over the last 6 years I've learnt and am still learning what it's all about and I'm gradually collecting a set of mint vintage loose figures. Collect ROTJ carded figures, vehicles and any other vintage stuff I like, loose and boxed. Also have some modern carded figures and ships and I'm getting into props, weapons and helmets etc. I wanted to come on here to hopefully meet some decent SW enthusiasts/collectors to buy from, sell to, learn from and discuss with. From what I've seen so far it looks like a good resource with people who actually know what they're talking about! Looking forward to getting involved :)
