Imperial Outpost (IOP) died a slow death about 4-5 years ago. This place started up just before IOP's gradual decline. We've had a few incarnations now, but we seem to be doing ok. There are a few members on here who were on IOP.

I started collecting loose vintage star wars figures in 2001 from evilbay (as someone on here rightly called it). Although, to be fair, ebay are better now than when I bought my figures. It's just some of the sellers.

I'm looking to sell my figures, ask various inane questions, general banter etc.

Im Warren and collect loose figures ,nearly got them all just got about 8 to get but i also love anything clone/stormtrooper

Hi everyone,

My name is Clark and I randomly found this site while looking up info on collecting Star Wars figures and vehicles. Currently I have an assortment of loose figures, both from the original runs and then I believe the POTF runs, 2 almost complete loose Falcons, a loose AT-AT and AT-ST (just got the final piece for that one!), a Snowspeeder, and two loose Slave-1s.

Mainly I joined the board to possibly find weapons for my various original figures, as well as a couple of parts I'm missing for a few of the vehicles. I'm also looking to get into collecting MOC figures.

Considering the annoyance I've had trying to find anything on ebay that isn't overpriced or repro, from what I've seen by lurking so far, I'll definitely have better luck here. I did have (i hope) a good experience with it recently, as I found a B-Wing on there and picked it up for pretty cheap.

But anyway, looking forward to checking out the rest of the forum! Thanks!

You have defo come to the right place for some weapons/figures and in many cases cheaper than the bay! :wink:

Warren & Clark (sound like a company that does :lol: ) - a great big welcome to the forum & a welcome back to you Warren, I had a similar issue with a marine forum I use, if you ask the mods nicely they may well be able to reinstate your old account & find out what the issue is.

hope you both get what you would like out of the forum & bring new ideas to it.

Definitely safer than Ebay this place, but then that doesn't say much!
If you're dealing with someone, just use the same basic safety checks you would on Ebay (or PM another member if you want to check) and you'll be fine.
 
Welcome aboard Clark ,you are like me at the moment collecting loose .I did think about MOC but like my old mate on here Jabbawookie i do like to touch them .

Someone will now tell me Jabba is collecting MOC :roll:

Ohh and as for Jabba, nah he's not collecting much ATM. Sold up and restarted a few times. He does like taking them OFF cards, but I don't think that counts!
