Welcome to the forum Scott, I think there must be more Lee's on this site than anyone else.
Welcome too jonyrob97.

Hi

I'm Matt

I used to post on here about 5 years ago and just spent a happy nostalgic hour trying to remember my username and digging out a few old posts with the photo's of my old complete 12 back collection still on (why did I ever sell them!)

Anyway after having a look on ebay and thinking 'can I really afford to get back into this again?', I finally took the plunge and bought myself a 20 back stormtrooper the other day, so I guess I'm back in business now.

There are a few names I recognise on here still which is good to see, so hopefully I'll be hanging around again!

Hey Mike, i wasn't here 5 years ago but welcome back to the forum! You collecting again then?

Pete.

Welcome back 2stripes! 8)

Our resident/only Everton fan returns. Have you been waiting for them to finish above Liverpool just so you could back and start to gloat!?

Hello everyone. I'm Jez from Chester, new member.
Always loved Star wars (I was 7 in 77) but had to settle for playing with my brothers action figures.
Anyhows... what brought me here? Well to keep a long story relatively short I was in Changi airport (Singapore) a few months ago and stumbled across a stall selling lots of Star wars stuff, saw some kenner figures on cards and thought 'they must be worth a fortune by now and only 18 dollars each!' (and how I longed for them as a kid).
So got home and started researching vintage Star wars figures and boy what a minefield.
So... no figures purchased as yet (those in the airport were 2004 'vintage' figures) but hey who knows? start small and progress as finances allow.
Cheers chaps.

Welcome Jez,
You have definitely come to the right place. The knowledge on this forum is immense.
It's a really great community, the folk here will always be able to answer your questions or point you in the right direction.
It's far safer than ebay as well.

Enjoy,

Jez

Hey guys
I had to format the computer and forgot all my passwords so I opened a new account. Can you guess what my last user name was? :D

Thanks guys

Ha hello again Weasel, can't really gloat when they won a cup and beat us in the semi can we? Glad to see they were short sighted enough to let king kenny go though, that should put them back another 12 months! :D

Welcome back in to the fold Matt :)

Nice to see an Evertonian on here if only you hadnt had cost us the title

I gotta be honest I wanted you to win it, not a big city fan, although the annual 6 points and 24 million for Lescott was very welcome!

Thanks, yeah it appears I am, couldn't keep away! I have a 20 back stormtrooper expected for tomorrow morning. Promised myself I wouldn't go mad and try and take my time collecting a bit this time though, famous last word I guess!

HI Jez , HI Matt welcome.
Toffee man hey matt, as a red im sure well be having some banta on derby days. :D

Well, I have been on here for awhile now. Even sold and bought from here. I just saw the topic, and thought maybe I should introduce myself. So here we go:

Name: Jacob
Age:18
Location:Denmark
Occupation:Student

Collecting focus: Got almost all the loose figs. (need A-wing pilot, blue snag and jawa vinyl, and some weapons for some figures :) ) Also got some vehicles, love the AT-AT mechanics. VHS I don't know why, but I just like collecting Star Wars VHS tapes :)

Other collection: Small plastic figures from the 90's (My childhood toys)

Character focus: Well my favourite figures are Boba Fett and Yak Face, so that would properly be them :D

Why I collect Star Wars: Love the movies, I grew up in the 90's, so I didn't have the vintage star wars as a child like most of you guys did. I had some small plastic figures witch I also collect. I saw Star Wars in TV, 4-6 in the late 90's and that was about the same time that I rly started collecting Star Wars. I was about 6 when I saw my first Star Wars movie in the cinema(Epi. 1). My collection was first modern figures, cause that was what I could buy in the store and wish for my birthday, but later it went to vintage, mostly because my brother told me that the new stof sucks, and vintage Star Wars is much cooler, and I can only agree :D

They weren't exactly moving forward under Kenny. I was on the fence at to whether he deserved another year or not, but I was really struggling to see any progress. I knowthese things take time but in 18 months had Liverpool improved at all!?

Hello all,

High time I introduced myself, I'm Dave and New Hope was the 1st movie I saw at the cinema aged 6 and been SW mad ever since... I still have my collection from back then - about 150 figures, most with accessories (I cared for my toys well even back then!) and about 10 vehicles. Am looking to improve the beaters in my set and fill in the gaps, like 11 from the last 17, army builders e.g. only had 1 ERG but found a 2nd recently and you gotta have 2 really..., and one day, of course the notorious pesky Blue Snag and VCJ. Just in for the fun of it of finding decent and complete loose for my display.
Am in the UK, so this forum seems a great way to find like-minded collectors and get bitten by the bug of adding to my humble but treasured collection!
Cheers, D.
