I'm a new member joining today, admittedly I've poked around the site a bit for a few weeks and can't quite believe how much info there is on here - so thank you all for that already!
I've a small collection that's been growing on and off for the last 25years; having sold my own childhood haul around the time of my A'levels and then almost instantly regretted it, so started collecting what I could at a time that car boot sales still turned out boxed ships with figures and weapons for less than the cost of a pint...
I'm still looking for a handful of boxed playsets and vehicles to finish the set, before I wander down the long and expensive path of carded figures, I've resisted so far and I only have about 15 of them; all ROTJ and Tri-logo.
Wiltshire based, so if you know of any events or outlets other than eBay to source stuff info would be very welcome.
Cheers

My sister came to visit recently and turned up with some boxes of my childhood "Star Wars crap" that my parents wanted rid of. It's about 70 loose figures (most without weapons) and a few monsters and ships. The girlfriend was hoping it was worth some money (coz it's Star Wars) and that we could go off on a nice holiday. I've done some research and discovered they're worth peanuts. Much to my girlfriend's delight I'm now filling in the gaps and buying more "Star Wars crap"!
I've been lurking on here for a few weeks and picked up lots of useful tips. I look forward to chatting and trading with other members soon!
Cheers,
Marek
