Great story, Marc- I know that feeling very well, I was one of the lucky ones that was reunited with my childhood SW collection, too :D

Collecting Focus: A couple of At-At parts at the moment but eventually the vintage Star Wars figures i don't have. Loose ones for now but perhaps moving onto carded at some later point. Also taken up the task of finding parts to repair and fix up my other old ships.
Character Focus: Nothing in particular but would love eventually to have a couple of dozen stormtroopers, Hoth troopers and royal guards.

Collecting interest: Vintage Star Wars but also have quite a few Phantom Menace unopened.

Warm welcome to the new recruits. You've found the best place to discuss (and certainly in my case), learn about VSW and have a few giggles along the way. The guys here have helped me hugely to build my collection (and empty my coffers!) :)

Lucky guy... we don't get many bands here in NZ, that I want to see anyway (but living here still has its benefits :wink: ).

Collecting Focus: Vintage Starwars just going to start with loose ones for now, just getting back into sw. Still trying to get over selling my collection in 96 cause I had no room to keep them, all original minty loose figures (inc vinyl cape jawa), all ships boxed, and palitoy carded Death Star which were all mint condition it breaks my heart :( these were originally bought in 1977-1985

My focus on individual characters is: yoda and boba fett
 
Although I have been a member on the forum for nearly 12 months, I did not introduce myself and have largely been lurking in the shadows. So somewhat belatedly here goes:

Pets: Cat & goldfish, both of whom technically belong to my daughter
Star Wars collecting focus: Haven't really got one, but for a longtime I was just a loose collector, but dabbled with MOC's, vehicles etc, but of late have started to assemble a few MOC's. Currently on the hunt for a MOC Kenner ROTJ Luke Jedi & Emperor to complete a little display I have put together.


I already know a few on here and in the last couple of days have chatted with a couple of good lads, who have encouraged me to contribute more, so hopefully I will be.
