Hello all, I was told about the forum by Lee Bullock & Gary Smith after I got chatting to them at The NEC the other week. My names Marc & I've been collecting Star Wars Vintage since 1982. My main interest is 'as new' loose figures, ships & playset's but in the last year or so I've got into collecting the vintage 12" range too. I also have quite a few life-size replica's!

Lee & Gary also told me about 'Farthest From' so I headed down there at the weekend with my girlfriend & we really enjoyed it. I met more great people, learnt a thing or two & picked up a few nice bits for my collection!

I'll post some pictures of my collection on here soon & list a few bits I have to sell or trade.

Thanks for making me feel most welcome, I can't believe it's taken me this long to find out about this place!!

A warm welcome Mark, it was great to meet you at FF2. As others have said you have gcome to a great forum where you'll learn stuff, add to your collection but ultimately, you'll have a blast!!! Get those pics up of your collection soon mate, be good to see what you have as I'm sure I remember you picking up some nice stuff at FF2.

Hi, walkie here from the UK. 36 years old and a star wars fan since I could walk!

Some of you may recognise me from over at TIG where I normally hand out, i certainly recognise several users on here ;)

I remember when Christmas wasn't Christmas without star wars on the telly, and I was lucky enough to watch ROTJ at the cinema fist time round.

Unfortunately all my original toys were sold when my parents emptied the loft at the old house. Years later my mum found the last remaining piece.......a Luke bespin lightsabre, this now lives inmy current collection, as it's from my childhood.

I've been collecting vintage star wars toys since 2004, and after a short break i'm back. I have a full set of loose 3.75" figures including the droids and ewoks range except sise fromm but he's on my to get list.

I've managed to collect most of the major variants including lili ledy, pbp and glasslite. I'm always looking to expand my loose variant collection with some of the wonderful foreign figures.

For some reason I also started collecting the loose vehicles and MOC's which are mostly packed away as I have no room to show them off. A part from that if your not bored already I have a massive collection of kenner, palitoy, tri-logo, Canadian instruction leaflets.

Hi Liam,

I'm here at last , thanks for the recommendation.

I've been sneaking around the forum for last couple of weeks and finally took the plunge and signed up today.

Walkie

PS yes i've listed all the MOC's.

one sold, 2 on hold, and another 3 possible sales.

hopefully they'll all find a good home soon :)

Hi Mathew Reynolds, welcome to this great forum. I hope we see a lot to you on this forum and your collection :D
