Where it all started - Pics please!

I only have a few SW photos sadly but this one pretty much sums it up - me and my 2 brothers just smashed everything to pieces

I took the legs of my at-st as a kid as well. I found a screwdriver in my dads drawer and decided to take the at-st apart, the spring that makes it stomp flew out and i lost the legs. Glad I wasn't alone in amputating imperial machinery!

Loving these pics.
I'll see if my mums got any next time I'm there.

Edd is that a third one at the back of your picture or was it some sort of uniform?

Haha yes I have 2 brothers and my mum used to dress us all in the same clothes until I was about 10! I'm the one in the middle :)

Some excellent photos lads, with even better back stories.
I wish i had photos from back in the day, but it appears that my folks didn't take many. I'm hoping that my aunt and uncle may have some somewhere.

Hi guys,

Been having a tough time recently until I found these wicked pics and they cheered me up no end. This is Xmas 1983 when I was 8 years old, this is the first documented evidence of my Star Wars addiction, but if I find anymore earlier evidence I will add it!!!

I thought it would be a good idea to see where it all started for everyone... I know a few people have these as their avatar's but hopefully people are willing to share all of their photo's from when it all began?!

Check out the décor, I am loving the mounted fish plate!! If anyone can shed any light on what the two MOC Figures are by my right foot I would be very happy!

Please share the love!

:D

Is that figure beside the Gammy Guard not Admiral Ackbar!

It couldn't be 8D8 as he didn't come out till 1984. Unlikely to be Leia as she was really hard to find at that time!!!!

Had a few beers tonight but that's what it looks like to me!!!!

Excellent posts - I have loads of photos from Xmas 1983 and 1984 but unfortunately they are in Scotland with my parents!!!!

I now live in New Zealand!!!

This was my best Christmas EVER! Death Star, TIE Fighter, Landspeeder, and the large Vader figure. I think I got an X-wing that year too. Still have all of it!
That's me on the left, with my baby sister in the foreground.

I think this one is from my birthday, maybe 1980, or Christmas of that year, but I'm not sure.

You can see the large Boba Fett action figure box peeking in on the left. I still have those figures as well.

Enjoy the orange shag carpeting, guys!

See my thought was that it's Logray, due to it's pale colouring and the fact that it looks smaller than your average figure.

Actually- yeah its a Hoth Stormie!!!!!

I'd agree with you, there are a few white figures with dark red background colours: Stormy, Hoth Trooper, CCP etc but the one in the picture does look like a Hoth Trooper (I think what might be throwing us off is that possibly the cape was loose and resting on top of the figure inside the bubble..?)

Nice pictures anyway Bram & co.

Wow those pictures are amazing guys, cool to see you are so lucky to have childhood pictures with star wars toy 8)

Keep em coming
