Great question - sorry I missed it when you first posted

Had I replied back in December I probably would have listed a pop up R2 and a few more MOCs but with prices being what they are my aims are a bit more modest.

By the end of 2015 to have a nice Max Rebo band to keep my Jabba happy and pick up the last few weapons I need to for my loose figures.

Have you noticed how many people that have replied to your question that no longer post here with that in mind another aim for 2015 will be to play as big a part in the community as possible even if I'm not buying lots - I can enjoy what everyone else is buying

Loose collection with major variants
12" line
Ships and vehicles
Loose diecast including that bloody bomber
Marvel comics

Loose collection with all easily obtainable variants complete. Just need LL Bib and Squid I think. Also need a YPS rifle.
Just need a 12" naked Han and a few accessories. And that bloody TR that I just keep missing
Thought ships and vehicles were all complete but forgot the sandcrawler
diecast.... no hurry. rather be fussy and get decent condition
marvel comics. think I have them all now.

It is a shame that a lot of regulars have stopped posting as they were partly the reason a lot of new members joined including myself. I have not purchased anything Star Wars for about 2 months now and this forum is a good fix for me. I've also noticed the amount of new members that sign up and post a couple of times and then stop, which is a shame. :?

A lot of the zero posters are spammers, I do a clean out every year or so to keep the number down. But some people do join and then just read, can't really do anything about that.

I guess you can only really base it on 0 posters and the last time they visited.

Does having loads of members have any impact on the site?

Certainly I can imagine the high number makes the site look popular and could attract others to join.

Is it too late to add my collecting goals? I wasn't actually (re)collecting until March, so hopefully not!

I originally thought I'd go for a run of the first 12 figures on Palitoy cards, but that has been thrown into a bit of flux with higher prices and greater supply, so I'm going to wait and see if it settles down.

What I would like to do, is have at least 1 of each of the major 12 back card front variations by the end of the year. So, I think I need:

Palitoy
Kenner
Kenner Canada GDE
Harbert
Meccano
Clipper
Takara
Toltoys

and then perhaps Meccano 20bk, Kenner Secret figure offer and Kenner Boba Fett offer.

Toltoys and GDE will be the realy buggers to find by the looks of things so far!

How about instead of Lightsaber hilts, all new members get an Ugnaught handbag?
That'll prompt them to post as they'll be keen to ditch the handbag and get an elegant wepaon from a more civilised time?
