So I figured we were close enough to the end of the year to think about this one. (although maybe Dec will see a last splurge of purchases and gifts... Farthest From on the 10th maybe...) Last year I said I wanted to round of my POTF2 Collection and focus on 40th Anniversary stuff and...

Personally I had a great year adding some great items to my collection at a more budget friendly price as the market "re aligned".

Personally I have had another great collecting year with both of my runs getting closer to completion (if there is such a thing).
Prices seem to have come down and items are more available as people sell up or change focus.
It’s pleasing to see a little more action on here too, lets keep the momentum going in 2026.

Here are my 2025 goals:

12/20 back Han - to finally finish my Star Wars run - NO (Still after all these years!)
Tri-Logo Death Star Droid - NO
Tri-Logo Emperors Royal Guard. - NO
Tri-Logo Barada - NO
ESB IG-88 - YES
ESB FX7 - YES
ESB 4-LOM - YES
So more NO’s than YES but hey what I’m looking for is getting hard to find and in the condition I want.

And now my 2026 Goals

2025
Pass, zero real plans, maybe buy a MOC?

Bought a budget MOC and sold it again almost as fast. I did however pick up a cheeky DT Luke quite early on in 2025 and I’d like to report I still have him.

2026 hopes and dreams:
Leia Bespin Trilogo - potentially from Edd if he’s still selling

Beyond that, not a clue - random prop bits, some other Luke related bits, maybe a Luke Trilogo. The magnificent 7 will be mine one day.

Which Luke Tri Logo?
All are pretty hard to find, Luke Jedi the easiest I would have thought.

I desire them all - I’ve owned a few. I’d take any as a win, I’ve even seen budget friendly Hoth and Bespin (relatively speaking) over the last year or so.

2025 was a great year for my collection, managed to get a whole heap of things on my want list. Found them but they’ve been hidden away so I can get them over next few years

Had to go and check what I actually said my 2025 goals were - This is what I Said:

For Vintage probably not a lot, I do want to find boxes for my Y-Wing and B-Wing (I have a lead there), there are a few 'love to own' things, but they are out of my financial reach right now.
For M.A.S.K. we will need to see what the new toys coming from Loyal Subjects look like - we are hearing it will be vintage focused....
For Transformers - really need to only focus on G1 stuff, keep the Studio 86 line up to date and if a Jetfire or Nightbeat happen to arrive
For Modern SW, I want to keep the Retro line up to date, but after that I want to focus only on things that connect back to specific shows or comics (Shadows of the Empire and Heir to the Empire, Ashoka/Rebels).
Then there is Lego..........


What I actually did....
I didn't get the boxes for the vintage ships, but I did add more vintage SW figures, a Han Solo loose Run and this last week a loose Rancor and Jabba (need a case to put them in now).
I did order the Loyal Subject M.A.S.K toys (if they ever ship.....) And I all but finished the M.A.S.K vintage run, just a few bits to go there.
For Transformers, I got a Jetfire (not perfect so at some point an upgrade will be needed) and a very nice Nightbeat + a bunch of other bits.
Retro line was maintained and unplanned I have dived into the AOTC Saga Blue line, all of Phase 1 and half of Phase 2 and all of the the Clone Wars done.

So overall more toys bought than I thought I would and as usual stuff I didn't plan for

For 2026

For SW Vintange - Imperial Shuttle - I used to own the 2002 and 2006 versions, but never a 1983 version, so really want that - but it's a big ticket item so might have to wait on that.
M.A.S.K - Goliath as a Vintage toy and Wave 2 of the Loyal Subjects toys - going to stick to main line only here, none of the silly colour variants - although I did get the Black and gold Rhino in wave one - might sell that straight away.
Transformers - Studio 86 maintain the 100% run on that and G1 reissues as they come up, on the Vintage front there are a few Autobot cars I'd like to get but not too much really.
On Modern SW Keep going with the Saga Blue line, Phase 2 and 3 - there is still a lot there and they are not as easy or cheep to find as phase 1 was...
And Lego of course - that never goes away

Now need to find a real job to pay for all that...
