What Were Your 3 Favourite Non-SW Toy Lines Growing Up?

Interesting a lot don't have Star Wars in the top 3. It's funny coz I was racking my brain with this one also. There were so many lines I didn't have as a child, which I still loved to death...like Transformers. I would still check them out with a fine tooth comb everytime I went to a store that had them

1.Transformers
2. Dinoriders
3. LEGO

In no particular order.

If we can do five I would throw in

4. MOTU
5. M.A.S.K

1. MOTU
2. Visionaries
3. Action Man/GI Joe

and i have to give a shout out to WWF figures as i really loved those.

I had lots of different toy lines but I guess my faves were:

Thundercats
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
WWF

I would like to add to the list but Ill resist the urge!

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
That will probably be why.

Looking back collected action force after star wars. Lego throughout. Then although not a toy was pannini sticker albums. still got Mexico 86 completed. Looked at it the other day and was laughing as I have tried to forge all the Aberdeen player signatures on the Scotland pages.

Uh oh, did someone mention stickers?... :D
Have you seen my Panini collection Steve??

Hadn't but just had a look. Awesome collection Pete. I was a bit of a completist growing up and wish I had saved the albums. Only Mexico 86 left. Had ROTJ then all the football ones from about 85-92. Great memories. The world cup ones definitely the best for me!! Whole £1 pocket money on stickers every Saturday. :D

So SW wasn't one of your favourites then?

I could have lived without all other toys except SW and Action Man, it might be an age thing as by the time of MOTU etc I'd stopped playing with toys, and even a few years before there was a lot less choice

Yeah, but. You had a hairy, horny, booze hag of a mother. Who made you shave her, **** her, and feed her full of piss.
What can I say...You were a lucky child?

You know it was just a piss take. I am sure old girl TFB is a lovely old duck :D
Don't know what went wrong with you though

LOOOOL At your avatar

MOTU
Action Force
Transformers

(Robotech)
Loved the Robotech toys, but only got one of those when I was in the US when I was 9, traded it a week after I got back home....
Always regretted that...
Me and my cousin used to rent the Robotech videos, and they all had commercials for the toys before the show started,
man they looked cool!!
I even have one of the vids in norwegian with the commercials, I get chills every time I watch it!

Yeah Transformers and motu plus I had a battle of the planets pheonix made up of the individual ships you could attach together, that was pretty cool and seems to sell for a wedge now too. Top 3 board Games were Ghost Castle, Kerplunk amd Crossbows and Catapults which I played for hours. I remember me and my cousin 'custom' snapping off the limiters on how far you coul draw the elastic bands back on the crossbows and smashin hell out each others castles, that was a great game. Plus I had a commodor 64 (best game Chiller) followed by a Spectrum (best games Hyersports, RType, Cybernoid and all the Ocean games especially Chase HQ Operation Wolf and Castle Master)

Ahh Nostalgia Overload... I'll have to buy the whole lot off Ebay! I did look into buying the transformer Soundwave then saw the prices and figured Vintage Star Wars was enough of a cash drain on its own!

as a 80s kid asides starwars id liked the m.a.s.k figures! lego stuff i remember having castles and ships! thundercats i always wanted the thundercat sword and a teddy ruxpin for some reason lol. loved my etch-a-sketch by mattel, and my commodore 64 waiting 10 minutes for a game to load lol those were the days!
