What do you do with your repro weapons?

Just found a Nein Numb gun that's a repro.

Was going to bin it.

I bag them up all together to help refrence and authenticate future purchases. To begin with I was in the "Burn the bastards" camp, but I think they might help.

They dont even make it in to my man cave, its hallowed ground :) lol.

I save them up then go round to Franks place and poke tiny holes in some of his baggies and just swap them for the real deal ;) I have thankfully only come across 5 fake weapons I paired them up with figures and gave them to some of the guys I work with as desk ornaments.

Ages ago I used to team them up with figures and sell them on eBay but then I realised that a) I was promoting the use of them and b) they could fall into the wrong hands

I now just keep them in a great big bag (thing gets bigger every time I buy a 'childhood collection' on eBay!) - I have let a few of the guys on here has some for their displays or for their kids to use but would not really want to sell them

I have had plenty of arguments on RS about these and realise that there are still going to be people making them but if I do my little bit then that makes me feel better

I try not to get any, but I am not that lucky, there is always some guys who sell them as original.

Lucky me, I know a guy who I can sell them to very cheap, he give them to his son so he can play with them, because the son may not play with original weapons

Heat a pin/needle put a hole in them. Will never get confused with a real one again. Will still serve the purposes of those that want to let kids play with them, use them for customs etc...

Jez Junior has all of mine. Even he recognises that they don't feel right!

If people keep giving them to their kids to play with, repro weapons will be part of every 'childhood collection' in a couple of years... :D

I still have to go through what I've got in more detail, but on first sight I think most of it is genuine. (I bought most on here, so they better be!).
I do have some figures without weapons and although at first I was like "well, who cares" and saw them as replacement parts, now I'd rather have an incomplete figure than a fake.

Just had one turn up with a figure, no biggie as the guy sorting out the problem and was very understanding over it  . I'm tempted to burn a whole through the handle and keep it to one side for future reference. Either that or just chuck it in the bin as I'm not going to use it.
