What do i get next?

Hi guys,

I'm on a bit of a go slow at the mo as i currently have no disposal income. Fairly optimistic though that things should be back on track within the next couple of months.
I'm after your opinions on what Ship/Playset i should plan on getting for the top of my fourth cabinet.

As you can see, i have the classics, Falcon, AT AT, X Wing, Snow Speeder, AT ST and Rebel Transport (yes i know it's not the best, but it was the only big ship i was bought as a kid!)
My thoughts are i need a Tie Fighter for the base and maybe a Shuttle for the top. Can you think of anything else which would look good?

I can't remember the Skiff as a kid, and i think it'll be too much out of my price range. I don't really fancy an Ewok Village, not sure about the Death Star. What else is there?

Think I would go with a Kenner death star, not that its the best one, just think it would look cool with what you already have displayed - you have a real nice display BTW

I would say the Tatooine skiff-then you have one ship from each of the four releases

Alternatively Palitoy Death Star, sandcrawler or the Shuttle- I would love one but they are sooo big!!!

Imperial Shuttle is definitely the ultimate vintage SW ship for me. Then i'd say the POTF Skiff and/or Slave 1.

I would agree with some of the guys above, Shuttle, Sandcrawler or Death Star. Something a bit harder to find and a bit more expensive and rare. Collection looks great, love the cabinets, thinking I might get some of them for my MOC's.

Thanks guys, i have to say that i still like the idea of a Shuttle, but the Death Star could be a sound alternative.
Slave 1, that hadn't even occurred to me.
I like the idea of a Tie Fighter, does anyone know if one would fit "in" the cabinet?
Don't hate, but to me the Sandcrawler looks a bit boring, yes i know the Rebel Transport is hardly breathtaking! I'll have a look at the Sandcrawler, maybe it'll grow on me too?
I've not seen a skiff yet, can't remember them as a kid. Again, i'll have a look.
Maintenance energiser? Second cabinet, bottom level, servicing the X wing!

Next thing to do is; look at prices, i'll save that for the valuation thread.

Really nice display mate... for what it's worth I would go with the shuttle or skiff, slave 1 would fit in the bottom of the cabinet unles your saving that for more MOC figures... :wink:

How about a B-wing, assuming you can get it stand I think it'd look pretty cool.

Shuttle is a good call, but they are massive! Slave 1 aint a bad idea.

The B-Wing is good but you'd need a stand in order for it to look good as in landing mode its a bit under whelming.

TIE fighter was a good choice actually, very iconic ship!

All Ties apart from Interceptor fit in those cabinets, SLave 1 looks nice in mine. If you want something to sit on top then I would go for Shuttle or maybe a Vader/C3PO carry case.

Have you thought about playsets? Cantina, Dagobah, Turret/Probot all fit on those shelves and would look very nice.
