for me the fig would have to be yoda ,only ever saw one in a shop once and my mother refused to buy it for me ,i was ****ing devastated.then my next door but one neighbour got him :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: he also had a slave 1 which i was jealous of.he was one of them kids that didnt have many figs /ship and wasnt big on them just seemed to get all the best stuff

I know where you're coming from Jabba. I was reasonably lucky. Never has more than 10 or so figures, but I had Darth's fighter, X-wing, Slave I, snowspeeder and a few mini-rigs. However, I never got the Falcon or an AT-AT... although my bloody best mate did! He also had three stormtroopers, which I was envious as hell of. I only had one so could never re-enact the scenes where Luke/Han shoot them one by one.... I loved playing at his house I could mess with the Falcon then!

I don't remember ever wanting a particular figure or ship, and not getting it. I'm sure there were some I wanted, just forgotten over the years.
I think between me and my brother we had most of the main vehicles or figures, bar the Falcon, B-wing, any TIE fighters and the likes of Rancor/wampa.

We never had any last 17 or droids stuff, I think we had lost interest by then.

I started to collect again briefly in the mid nighties and I picked up a few last 17 then, although at the time I thought they were fakes/rip offs.
Other than that I had no idea they existed.
Droids figures I knew nothing of and I hadn't seen a POTF card till I started up again a few years ago.

i had loads of SW as a kid

my mate back then had a landspeeder and i never had one back then - ireally wanted to have one lol

he had a star destroyer thingy with vader chamber too,

one figure i could seem to get hold of as a kid was R5-D4 - seemed like gold dust back then for some weird reason!

I wasn't that keen on some of the droid figures but I remember the Tusken Raider being tough to find.

I only had the Darth Vader TIE and land speeder as a kid, but I always wanted an ATAT. The Imperial Troop transport was another one I really wanted, just because it talked Since I started collecting I've made up for the ATAT envy, at one time I had four

I'd stopped playing with toys way before the last 17, so never even knew they existed :|

remember having at least 50 figs and all the bits kept in an ice cream tub, some middle-aged twat bought them off me when I was in my late teens (early 90's) for about £15 and I thought what a sucker

Thankfully, my mum kept the big toys and their boxes in the loft of which I've still got:
ATAT, ATST, Rebel Transport
