Wavy vinyl cape fix?

If you are going to press it between books in a warm place; please ensure you guard it by placing it first between tow clean white sheets of paper so it doesn't pick up any printing ink etc.

Thanks i'll be doing that, ink transferring never crossed my mind.

I had a similar cape and I put it under a hardback book, I actually forgot about it so it was under there a few weeks and it came out nice and flat.

Day 1 of my book flattening with a 25kg weight.

Will post again next Sun with the result.

Took it out the oven 1 day early, if 7 days is gonna work then surely 6 will. Very slightest hint of where the kink/wave used to be but i'm not losing sleep over that, it's practically flat and looks amazing now.

Thanks for the advice guys on this, it's worked a treat. :)
