Vinyl Cape Jawa Cape Pattern

Hey fellas (are there any sheilas that use these forums???),

I may be getting a loose VC Jawa soon. Maybe.
Having never seen an original in the flesh i'd like to have a reference of the famous cross hatch pattern to refer to.
I'm not likely to get to see a confirmed genuine one in the near future, so i'm not really sure exactly what i should be looking for. I've obviously seen blown up pics of the pattern, but not really a good picture that shows the scale of the pattern.
Would it be possible for one of you guys that own a loose VC Jawa to take a macro photo of the cape that shows the pattern, as well as something to judge the scale of the pattern as well. Maybe the collar at the back of the figure? Or around an armhole?
Hopefully this is possible. Cheers for any help...

i would be interested in seeing a marco shot of a real cape myself although the example i will buy will be an afa graded piece

The "Pattern" found on the Vinyl Cape Jawa is exactly the same as all other Vintage Vinyl Capes. Grab a Ben Kenobi, take a look at the textured side and you will then know what an authentic Jawa Vinyl Cape looks and feels like, minus the color.

i'm ready be shot down in flames but the ben capes and a jenuine jawa cape are nothing like each other.

The ben capes are more like the Toltoys vinyl cape jawa, the only reference you will get from the ben cape is the cross hatch pattern and caoe thickness, the colour, armholes and size are different.

Yeah, thanks Snagbar, i've already got that page bookmarked as a reference when the VC jawa appears. In my internet research it does seem to be the most thorough resource.
The blown up cross hatch pattern picture on that page is good too, i just wish there was something in the picture to cross reference the size of the hatching with...
The cross hatching on my Kenobi capes is tiny/barely there?? Is that what i'm looking for. I was kinds expecting something a bit more obvious.
