Hi all, I've set up a Vintage trade group on Facebook as I'm on there far more than the forums.

If anyone on here would like to join, follow this link http://www.facebook.com/groups/270234929734135/

Thanks, Mike

Theres a guy who found a case of Tri-logo madines, trading them for ROTJ carded Ree-Yees

No I think you missed the joke :) I was referring to you stealing Andy's Madine picture and putting it on Facebook as your own Madine ;)

Well, in all honesty it really isn't all that interesting at all (certainly not popcorn worthy!) just some rather silly behaviour that there are still no answers for..

/Start_story

In Jason's FB Vintage SW toy group there was some random posts being made about how rare a Trilogo Madine was, Mike posts on one part of the groups wall "I just got a Madine bla blah" then later he steals a picture of the Trilogo Madine that Andy Davies owns and slaps it up on FB saying here it is but it's not for sale...my first reaction was wow..last I heard that hadn't gone anywhere I wonder what he traded to get that or if in fact Andy sold it..

I contacted Andy and he said the Madine was still with him so I went back to FB and asked Mike why he would do that, shits and giggles or what? But when I went back all trace of the Madine was gone..Mike then went AWOL and didn't post on the FB page for like 2 weeks  I guess it was just a stunt that backfired but a pretty stupid one if you ask me, what if I was a potential buyer in talks with Andy about a deal and then I go see someone parading it around on FB pretending to own it?

Anyway, like I said it's not super interesting and no one really got hurt from what happened but I think the fact that I have had pictures stolen of stuff I own by random ebay cunts and stealing images to show off was one of Blarc's party tricks the whole thieving images thing on the internet to pass them off as yours just pisses me off..we are not teenagers that need to lie about stuff to make people jealous on the internet surely?

Mike, I don't think you are a bad bloke, I know you have been on the boards for a while and this was probably just a prank on your FB mates that went wrong but owning up would be the right thing to do, not just run off and pretend it didn't happen! /end_story

 Classic.

I never get why people do that sort of thing. The internet made our small world, even smaller. Pretty easy to get caught out.
