Vintage Star Wars Toys Hidden in the Movies & TV

And a DT Luke by the look of it! God we're sad

Just watched Hoarder on Bio...

In one room full of crap there was a shelve with an AT-AT, Bwing and a Falcon, also one of the Hoth sets. The homeowners kids ages ranged from late teens to early thirties so they could have been Vintage or POTF2.

Either way I have been shouting at the TV just knowing they would all end up in the dump truck.

I was over the moon that when all the hoarding rubbish was removed and they showed the bedroom all clean and tidy all the Star Wars stuff was still on the shelves... :D :D :D

I watched an old Buffy this weekend - Spike threatens to pull a 'limited edition 1979 Boba Fett's head off' unless Warren takes the chip out of his brain. I'd forgotten all about that scene - a classic

Over to Pete and his screen grabs (Buffy, Series 6 - Smashed)

Buffy added to page 1 (post 1).

Still need to get round to doing Ted and Argo. Will look for a decent download of Argo later as i'm looking to watch it anyway.

nice one Pete - it really was a classic episode and appealed to me on so many levels of geekdom

Screen shots from Argo added to page 1, post 1. Including a little competition. Just for fun and forum cred of course. ;)
The missing 'first 12' C3P0 was actually somewhere in one of the shots. Did anyone spot him? I've actually removed him from one of the pictures but if anyone can tell me where he was you'll get lots of forum cred. Or possibly regarded as a bit of a sad bastard.
PM me the answer, tell me what pic (of those i posted) he was in and roughly where and we'll see how many get it by 6pm tomorrow (well, tonight. It's late). If you really don't know, or care, silly guesses are allowed/encouraged.

New vintage Star Wars sighting added to page 1. Featuring a sealed Vinyl Cape Jawa. 8)

I recently watched an episode of 'Storage Wars' that featured Star Wars figures.
It didn't have the usual suspects from the 'Storage Wars' I've seen.
Think it was Southern based.

In the storage unit was a box of 4/5 graded Boba Fetts.
I meant to mention this ages ago but seeing the new shots reminded me

Great pictures added, do you know what the valuation price was on them and if the owner accepted it?

Ah yes i should have said. He was asking $11,000 which i'd say is high end retail when considering the other half a dozen or so semi valuable cards he had ($2G worth?)
I think they offered him about 7 grand which he took. Let me just check now actually i have the episode on my laptop.

That VC Jawa must be worth around 4-5K on it's own although the others are probably 5-6 hundred for the Han at most.

How much was the Vader worth?
Before and after

Sounds like we might all need a detailed break down of the show, shame it's not on you tube but appreciate any info if you've got the time. :)

They really didn't go into much detail with individual valuations and thee was no real story given. The expert valued it all as one lot at between 8 and 12 grand i think.

Thanks for taking a look anyway and out of interest how many were there in total as i can see a 3po creepy into the corner of one of the pictures?

Hey Pete,

here's some screen shots from an Aussie lifestyle show called better homes and gardens that did a retro collectables special.

Psych season 6, episode 1; Shawn rescues Vader
Apparently a kid hires Shawn to find his "Double telescoping" Vader, but it's just a regular broken tip saber.
Still, SW toys in a tv show. :P

Nice spots guys. I'l get them added.
Those stickers on the bubbles are very worrying... why?? :? I doubt you would ever be able to get them off without damaging the bubble.

Pitch Perfect, about 10 minutes in the roommate puts a full on SW room decoration thing up.

Image from Pitch Perfect, actually around the 7 min mark, not 10.
